Haha, actually yes. Apple's facing the most challenging year considering iPhone sales. They must consolidate their position in the market by all means this year. There's absolutely no room for a price hike, and they know it. Even if there is a new hit with tariffs, I am pretty certain that Apple will eat up the cost. Moreover, I think we will get an included fast charger and/or 128 GB base storage.

Fast charger should have been included with iPhone X, but here we are with cheapo Apple along with higher base storage and more RAM.

Apple will eat the tariffs cost because it is not going to be long term (I hope), plus it is offset through other means.

Apple loves providing the bare minimum with max profits, I hope people are waking up to this foolishness. :p

Apple produces the most accurate colors and the best videos. Can google produce good videos? Taking one scenario as the entirety of the possible ways to use the camera is a bit biased.:p

Subjective, however if they do produce accurate colours and best videos why drop the ball on low light photos and videos. It seems half arsed of an attempt when they claim they take they time to refine. Are you seriously telling me that Google was able to pull this off at a fraction of the hardware cost compared to Apple being one of the most valuable companies in the world.:p

FaceID is another example why not any orientation recognition like iPad Pro 2018. Considering it replaced TouchID that can unlock in any orientation just seems half-baked. ;)

Neither do I...congrats....your response is literally the dumbest thing I’ve read all day.

The “pro” monicker for a phone is ridiculously stupid...but par for the course for Tim Cook’s Apple.

I’m sure all the shills invited will give a standing O this fall though.

The only thing I can hope now is that your post isn't representative for your intellect in general

The simplest example I can give you for a modern "pro" phone is a better connectivity, so that you can use your phone to check mails in more places more reliably when on the go. Or have a better hardware encoding for your video conferencing. Or better battery lifetime, better durability, better preprocessing, ...

But yeah... what else to expect from a consumer talking about "professionalism" other than pure ignorance... whatever

The people on this forum just love to complain about anything and everything. It doesn't matter how good or bad the news or product info is, people will hate it. And then they will have to have it. So predictable.

(hey I'm complaining about people complaining, so I fit right in!)

If Dex was actually useful for something...
Dex provides desktop experience (multiple resizable windows, mouse support etc.) for those who need/want it without having to use a desktop computer. That's way better than iPad "Pro" can give you (let alone iPhone "Pro")

Right you picked on a one trick pony feature and called this subjective?;) For photos that look fake? Very biased post.:p

Give me some examples. I’ve tried Dex on my Note 9 and S10+. It’s not nearly as good as people say. What good is running Fisher Price Apps on a large monitor?

That’s why it’s garbage compared to the iPad Pro, which actually has a wide range of high-end Apps that are actually optimized for a large screen (which Android is sorely lacking).

Does it have a bigger Taptic Engine and Animoji though?

That's just BS. People can run MS office apps on Dex. This alone makes it better for productivity than iPad. iPad works better in some corner cases (sketching) which very few people are interested in.

Though Office products are available for free to use on phones, I have never seen someone use them other than for minor edits. Microsoft knows that it is not a preferred entry method hence it offers it free for use on small screen sizes. I presume of USB-C is offered there will be no external display or mirroring support for Office. Microsoft is not stupid. :p

Yes, Microsoft is not stupid, so if a phone ever gets better features they’ll start charging for their products, same as they do already for Office on iPad Pro.
Your line of thoughts makes little sense: a company will always prefer to give more features and charge for them over giving less features for free

I would imagine (and not sure if somebody already mentioned) that the Pro is the for the largest display and only that phone will allow pencil support. That is why the pro moniker.

My guess anyway.

Oh so it means Apple have dropped Intel's garbage modems from the "Pro" phones?
