I’ve wanted to see something like this for a while. Clean up the naming. The numbers are really becoming a bit stupid, especially with the 3 year cadence we seem to be in for redesigns - 6, 6s and 7 were all essentially the same design. And now X, XS and 11 (maybe?) for the current design.
The iPhone has matured. We don’t need drastic redesigns often just like we don’t see on iMac, MacBooks and iPads.
Pro for a phone? 'Pro' has lost all meaning
"Pro" beats 5G any time!Screw the naming.... no 5g this year :-(
Why didn't they use 11 last year so the model number actually represented the model generation we are on?
Are these phones for professional phone users? How do I become one?
ANDROID TROLLMaybe that should be iPro = Idiot Person Ready to Overpay.
That's no excuse. They should have corrected it when they had the chance. Doing something stupid because you've always done something stupid is not a reason to keep doing something stupid. They don’t really have a history of the numbers always meaning the generation number.
My iPhone X continues to do everything I need a smartphone to do.
I almost bought some Pantene Pro-V shampoo, but then I realized I wasn't qualified to use it. Guess I'll stick with Pert Plus.Always has been. It means “someone who needs (or wants) more than the cheaper, less-feature-filled, model”
“Pro” roughly correlates to “prosumer,” not “professional.”
There is nothing "pro" about a phone.....any phone.
“Rumored features include triple-lens rear cameras on the higher-end models, larger batteries, two-way charging of AirPods, and much more.”
...and much more?
I think that’s a bit of a stretch.

AW5 is where I am most interested.
