I did myself. I am surprised on here that it seems it was very popular indeed. Usually alternate colors aren’t as big of a color on the flagship iPhone models, so I am surprised the ship dates got pushed out on those just as much as the silver and graphite.

Personally the blue looks very sharp, so happy with my decision.

Here's the ACTUAL point:

6 mins past and online deliveries not on launch date.

15 mins past and you could still pickup locally from London which is now moved into a 'High Risk' classification area for Coronavirus.

Quick and easy. App opened at 5:04am, added the 12 Pro 128 in Pacific Blue, Cyprus green case, and 20w brick and the order was placed with Apple Pay at 5:05am. Delivery next Friday. Easiest and fastest pre-order I’ve experienced.

Wow. I had everything ready in the app and delivery was 10/23, but since I’m out of town next weekend I checked to see if there was an Apple Store where I was gonna be (Bend, OR) so that I could pick it up instead.

No luck and the delivery slipped to 11/3 - 11/6 immediately after WTF?? It couldn’t have taken more than 30 seconds to check. I seriously hope I get it earlier...

Definitely not america first. It didnt open for me until 5 minutes after, by the time i got my pre approved IUP order in, Nov. 3-6. So no, try again.

Oct 23 delivery date!

I think the cause of the errors was that I was trying to order on the website from MacBook Pro and also via the iPhone Apple Store app to see which one was fastest.

Next time (Nov 6) I will order using the iPhone app on it's own

Actually it seems like I got 2 orders in and that's a bit unintentional so I'll probably cancel one later or see if a friend wants it.

Gold iPhone 12 Pro 512 - decided on gold because the pro versions are shiny. Whatever - you never see the colour anyways - always in a case.

Is your purchase showing up in the Wallet app or on your credit card's website? Apple Pay showed an error to me, but then like 5 seconds later I got the order complete thank you screen. Now I have an order number and receipt and everything, but I don't see any pending transaction on my credit card, and the purchase isn't listed for that card when I look in the Wallet app.

Fascinating process. After trying to order at their prescribed time on the web site, which failed as the order process did not come on line for another 4 to 6 minutes, the site crashed. I went back tried again, crashed. Eventually managed to get to the Shop function and configure an order and pushed the Review Bag button at which they were giving me a delivery date of 23 Oct. It froze at that moment and took 12 minutes to come back and then showed me a delivery date of 3 Nov. I am not sure how it works out which order gets what when but it seems to be random. I am told if you use the app and Apple Pay it is faster, but when I do that I can never track my order as it assigns it to some unknown ID for which I do not have the relevant access information. I try and avoid Apple Pay since tracing what you have bought when etc. is almost impossible. Anyway, I have an order for 12 Pro and now waiting for the 12 Pro Max where I am sure they will mess with me again. I sometimes wonder why I bother. Of course we also have the problem that all my other orders I have outstanding (16" MBPro etc.) are not viewable on the site. Come back in a few hours...... Seems to be the story here. Hurry up and wait.

That's because you went through a pre-approval process! Most people have the phone saved to favourites and use Apple Pay!

The Pacific Blue delivery moved to November so I just ordered Graphite instead as it gonna have a case on it anyway but still a little gutted though 😌

This should be making headlines, it's wrong from Apple.

Not the first time either.

The new braided Watch bands for the new Apple Watch over here - you can pickup at any local London store today/tomorrow but you can't get delivery until November!

Same, I have gotten the confirmation email for my order, but nothing on my bank application yet.

However, if I remember correctly, doesn’t Apple not charge the account until the item ships, or is about to ship?

I think it was a verizon issue. It was terrible. I got a confirmation number but am still waiting on the confirmation email over an hour later.
 
well after wasting 40 minutes on hold just to make sure my order went through I’m giving up, hoping for the best and going back to bed. It’s my freaking day off. Prefer it when they launch preorders at midnight or 1am pacific to this. Oh well. Best of luck to everyone still trying.

Just upgraded a line through verizon, got a 12 in black.... $440 in bill credits for trading in my Xr. not bad for 2 year old phone that I paid $750 for. delivery date 10/23

Just placed my order for silver pro 128GB. Coming from XS Max and looking forward to a lighter and smaller phone with decent specs. I'm in Spain and the delivery date was pushed to November 16th but opted for store pick up on 23rd!!!

Partner likes the maximum sized iPhones and I prefer the iPhone Pro size as it slips into pockets and car cradles easily. I'm contented that I avoided the three weeks extra for the iPhone Pro Max.
