I finally got around to the pocket test with my Apple leather case, and I am happy to report mine doesn't pop out. I've even tried dropping the phone/case from a height of 36". I read a tip on this forum sometime ago (and I wish I could remember who it was so I could give them credit) to squeeze the corners before putting my phone in. I don't know if this is why my phone is snug or if I just got lucky. In fact, my phone is so snug and I have such a hard time taking the case off my phone, that there are creases on the back of my case where I slightly bent it, trying to remove it.

Be careful, squeezing too much the corner and bow out the sides. Sure you fix one issue but you introDuce another.

Brought back my green silicone today to apple. I was just not please taking my phone all the time from my pocket and edges off the phone. Got the otterbox clear case. Fits good and more grippy

Nah, haven't had issues with the cases, I've had baltic blue leather since a week before 12 Pro Max came out, one corner was slightly out....BUT only because I didn't put it fully in the case (doh!) I go back and forth with the BB leather and the Black Apple silicone.

I don't know if it's just me, but these 2020 silicones feel really really nice...still do after a few months (comparing it to previous silicone cases I've had for XS Max, 6 Plus. I don't know what the iPhone 11 cases felt like).

They just feel softer. Also for me personally, not much lint and dust build up like the previous versions.

Well, on my iPhone it stopped popping off, i think older case gets it settles in and stays on phone. I used to push it back almost daily, now i did it last time may be couple of weeks ago.

Hello guys, here's my experience.

iPhone 12 Pro, Kumkuat Silicone Case, 09/2020

Corners are very loose and are still very loose. I usually put my iPhone with the screen facing outwards and all the times one corner was loose and I had to put it back in. Now it's 1 week I put the iPhone with the screen facing in and no more issues at all.

I think that it's more a leg-gate than a cover-gate 🙃

The problem is NOT with face-in or face-out in pocket…..the problem is that with the corners popping out is that if you drop your phone face first, then your phone are at risk of shattering because the corners peel back easiLy.

Any recommendations of a case to get. I tried Nomad but the buttons are way too hard to press
Are all the Apple 12 pro max leather cases like this?

I have the Baltic leather case from Apple. I use a tiny amount of my kid‘s Elmer’s glue at the corners…works great! Securely on my phone. Does not damage the phone (due to glue being 100% washable and non-staining). And when you want to take the case off, you still can by applying slightly more pressure than normal.

the case is too expensive to have to do all that tbh. its one of the most expensive cases out there so it should be flawless! I am going to purchase one from amazon since its on sale and see if it keeps popping out. if it does I will just return it/

I would have got the silicone but I hate how it feels and picks up all sort of dust etc.

I went for a skin around the band of the phone and it’s just enough to hold the case firmly in place. I went with brushed titanium but many other options are available from extremeskins.

Have purchased a black, saddle brown and now a ballistic blue. None have had corner issues. Ballistic blue just purchased through Apple this week

Is that Bleu de CHANEL?

Na, it’s Chanel Platinum Egoiste. I have the Bleau too!
Ah, that's my signature scent. I pretty much have the entire Chanel lineup because a few years back, I panic-bought them because someone spread a rumor that Chanel would only be sold at their own stores. I wish Allure Homme Edition Blanche lasted longer. I love that lemon pie smell.

(Sorry that this is off-topic.)

Just in case someone asked, this is what happens when you take your phone out of the case after you use elmers glue at the corners. Minimal damage.

I find this happed to mine as well, my Blue leather fit perfect since the beginning, but my saddle brown was a little wonky on the bottom right hand corner, i didn’t really care that much about the saddle brown because i wasn’t liking the way that I’ve seen other aging on this site, but I’ve been wearing the SB for the last couple weeks and it just seems that the leather has been stretching out a little now and the bottom right corner is fitting a lot better and it’s not been popping off...

I have a yellow leather and it has the same problem on the bottom right corner.
As I‘m having problems with colour on the edges I’m getting my money back and buying the seddleback boot leather case. Like I’m tired of this half quality issues and going for un indestructible option lol
