At the fifth time of asking I have a BB leather case that is snaps over all corners and is secure!

You definitely have to keep persevering with these case which is annoying but you will get one that fits perfectly in the end.

Even better that I am on the end of an Amazon cock up and have the case for £40.00

All still good?
One issue I have with this years cases is that slightly visible part of the stainless band around the bezel. Seems to really collect dust and requires a regular wipe 🥶

Yeah all fine.

I just give it a blow. Tend to take my case of every couple of days and clean the phone.

Picked up a black leather case for my iPhone 12.....same thing, corners popping off constantly. Not worth $60 to deal with .

I’ve tried 4 different leather cases (saddle and poppy) and 2 silicon ones (blue and green) with 2 different iPhone 12 Pro’s. All exhibited this issue. It never happens when using it around the house. It sometimes (not always) occurs after a walk outside and it is in my jeans pocket. I go to use the phone and that’s when I notice the bottom right corner is slightly lifted.
I can tell everyone what the problem is right now. These phones are big (compared to the 4/5) so they naturally will flex more in our pockets , popping the corners of the case off. Wondering if this design change was such a smart idea after all. Theres a reason when the phones got bigger with the iPhone 6 they switched to a curved design, more ergonomic in the hand. Plus their cases had a more secure lip to avoid the issue many of us are having.

I don’t know if I’m going crazy but my leather case feels tighter at the corners today 🧐

See what I have when my other two arrive tomorrow.
Why is everyone so willing to cut apple slack on this and just order 100 cases to see if one fits properly....these cases cost $59. This kind of QC I expect from some cheapy off amazon not an OE case.

Guess it makes sense with Apple lately. Considering just about everyone has the annoying iMessage keyboard delay bug since Sept when iOS 14 came out, who would expect them to make their cases properly. Also lots of watch band QC issues lately too.

I’ll tell you why I’m cutting Apple slack; because Amazon returns are so easy and convenient and Prime deliveries are amazing 😂 And they sell the cases cheaper. Yes I’ve had 5 of these cases. But it’s only taken 6 days.

UPDATED: iPhone 12 Pro Max w Baltic Blue leather case. I do see some popping off unfortunately. It's nothing extreme, but it is annoying.

My BB on the PM does. The bottom corners. I have a Pro also and it has the same issue with Apples Silcon.

My first Baltic blue (from Apple.com) frequently popped out at the top right and bottom left corners so I returned it. Just bought a replacement (from the Apple store) and the top right is tighter but the bottom left still slips out frequently. I’m a bit gutted as I’ve always used Apple leather cases and I love the slim squared profile of the new one.

If it wasn’t £50+ I’d give it a pass but I think I’ll return this 2nd one and try a Bellroy - I like their other products but a bit sad that the Bellroy case only has a leather back and not the sides as well.

Anyone got any other suggestions for something close to the Apple leather case - I don’t mind if it has a subtle logo but want it as slim and high quality leather as the Apple one.
Try Mujjo

Try Mujjo
Agreed.

Mujjo is slightly chunkier and the buttons moulded leather which aren’t as nice and the bottom is open. The leather is tackier to touch too.

Bullstrap cases look bloody nice too, I’m tempted to order but like to have the option to return if I don’t like it. I’m in the UK and it’s too much hassle to return to the US and wait weeks for the money.

Here's an assortment of comparison shots between the Apple Leather Case and the Mujjo leather case, for my iPhone 12 Pro.
The Mujjo smells like pure leather, whereas the Apple case has a faint smell of chemicals. The Apple case completely surrounds the phone and has metal buttons that are easier to press. Other obvious distinction is lack of MagSafe magnets in the Mujjo, but the Magsafe charger still "clicks" on to the case.

I'd really like to get my hands on the Bullstrap case since it looks like actual real leather from the photos.
EDIT; just found this good comparison

Have seen a couple reports of people having to push the phone back in at the corners due to the iPhone 12 Apple leather case popping off. Is this a widespread/design issue? What has been your experience with the leather case? For those that have had the issue did a replacement make a difference?

I had the issue with the apple silicone case, returned it. Tried my luck with the leather case...same issue!!!

They’ve dropped the ball here. It’s just not designed right, but how can they fix it? To get as tight as is needed, it’d be really hard to get on/off.

Those who done have the issue yet, you will! Takes a little while as some seem firmer out of the box than others; but they seem to gradually give over the days.

Might just go caseless and rely on AppleCare.

Well I decided to initiate a return (that didn't take long). Unfortunately I am outside my return window for the clear case but oh well. Yet another dust collector for me. I could probably bring it in to the store to get a refund but not really worth the hassle in these times.
Return the clear too. It’s faulty, they will take it back.

My pacific blue leather case is quite tight, it is hard to get the corners out when I want to remove the case. Do you really get corners so easily?

Got my silicone case exchanged. First "try" pulling out of the pocket caused a left corner pop again. I pressed it back into the case, and since then, it never came of again. This is a QC issue 100%.

I'll have a further look if the problem comes back with time.

Really puzzled by this thread. Is the issue only when pulling the phone out of your pocket? Is it always at the bottom it occurs? I bought two leather cases for the 12 PM and the case fits extremely tight after trying them both out to see what color to keep.

If youres sits tight, everything is fine. The corner pop seems to occur mostly on the bottom corners when pulling your phone out of the pocket. In normal day use, I had no issues.

QC issue, definitely but it doesn’t affect every case. So not sure how they’re gonna combat this one.

Definitely a quality issue in the 6 total case I used with 2 different iPhone 12 Pro’s. For me, it only happens after I take a walk. I take the phone out of my front jeans pocket and the bottom right corner will be slightly raised.

Same issue here.
Black leather case from apple for pro max and the corners pop off constantly.
