3rd attempt with a Baltic Blue today (this time from Amazon). Corner issue on 3/4 corners straight away. It was back in the packet and Amazon return initiated within 5mins of the postman delivering it! Replacement not due until January (hopefully the next batch will be fixed) but I’m perfectly happy with my ESR leather case in the meantime. It’s so simple to order/return/replace with Amazon Prime that I’ll just keep it up until they fix it or I get bored.

Does these cases pop off by themselves or only when you have it in your pocket?
This recent one was really loose. The corners pushed back from the phone edge with even the slightest touch. I wonder if it was someone else’s return.

I’ve also gone through 3 and did the same thing as @L4ng3r5 on the 3rd attempt, straight back in the parcel within minutes.

It’s so weird that Apple couldn’t get this right, throughout my attempts I’ve been using a temporary £6 ESR clear case and it’s been perfectly fine. Just waiting for a brown Nomad case to come in stock from a UK based seller.

Ok I opened a thread about that very same issue. I now see we are a lot having this problem. I will return my Baltic Blue and hopefully get a good one.

Ok. I just had a corner pop off my SB leather case for the first time. I am wearing pants today that have small pockets, which I think plays a lot into it. The phone fit tighter into the pocket, which put more pressure on the corners of the phone.

I haven’t had it happen before now. Guess I’ll assess over the next couple days of it matters to me before my return window ends.

Just the silicon and leather to my knowledge. For me it happens when I am walking (mostly up or down steps) or if I kneel down with my phone in my front left jeans pocket. Almost 100% of the time the bottom right corner of the phone slides out a little bit.

I noticed this only happens to me when I have the screen facing away from my leg in my pocket.

Not an issue if the screen is against my thigh, as the phone is pushed into the case by my leg rather than out of it.

Sounds like some of you need to stop wearing too-tight pants with tiny pockets. If you wear looser pants with bigger pockets, will this popping-off issue still occur?

I always put it in my pockets screen facing front. I’ll have to try this and my jeans are not tight by any means.

I wonder if this is the solution to the problem. I have not had an issue with my blue leather case and I always put it into my pocket with the screen facing my thigh. I may have to try it screen facing out.

Another potential solution: Try rubbing some leather conditioner on the case then hit it with a heat gun/hair dryer for a little bit (or let it sit in the sun for a few hours). This may cause some slight shrinkage in the leather that tightens up a loose case. I don’t know if this will work, but may be worth a try if you are willing to experiment.

This started happening to me. I thought my case was very tight when I put it on, and it didn’t happen at all for the first 4 or 5 days. It happened once a couple days ago, and I thought it was no big deal. But today it happened like 6 times, and I decided that I’m not going to keep a case that I have to pop back on my phone all day long. Super disappointing. I love the look and feel of the case.

Anyone tried some thin strips of double sided tape or command trip in each corner or something?
