Got the black leather case today.

This is how it should had been on release day!

Reminds me of the iPhone 5S leather case.
Fantastic fit and feels magnificent and premium.
Buttons are light years better than the crappy clear case.
Worth every penny.

You have good taste, I got the same 2 cases yesterday for my pro max. 😂

I’m torn as to which one I’ll want to keep. I like the color of both, my biggest concern lies in the durability of the leather. How well it will hold up over time when it comes to general stains/marks and patina, etc.

Thinking Baltic blue leather case at home and occasionally outdoors, think I’ll be using the deep navy silicone case more when outdoors because of the added grip, in saying that though it would be a shame if the Baltic blue leather case doesn’t get used outdoors a lot. 🤔😂

That’s also a concern of mine, but since I haven’t had a apple leather case for a while, it was time for a leather case this year.

Hopefully the color ages well, i reckon don’t worry about it and enjoy it, the Baltic blue is a beautiful case.

I’m keeping both, l like both colors. 🤦‍♂️😂

I have the silicone case in Plum for my iPhone 12 Pro. I like the feel and the color, however always having had Apple leather cases I ordered the Baltic Blue yesterday.

My phone is only 2 days old and my silicone case 3 days old.

I only owned the Apple silicone case in the past, not the leather case. Can anyone who have experienced with both tell me if the silicone case provide better drop and bump protection than the leather case?

In my opinion, the silicone will provide a little better drop protection due to its ability to flex and absorb impact, whereas the leather case does not really have that ability although it can provide some protection.

the leather case is terrific. i have a silicone case but much prefer the leather due to the metal buttons. besides looking great, the click is perfect.

I agree. The leather is better for the button action. There are trade-offs between the two.

Whichever way you go, silicone or leather, they all look stunning this year, apple has done a tremendous job this year.

Got my Baltic Blue and Black Leather cases delivered.

Black is going back, the BB is a stunning colour. Has a deep blue indoors and in dim light and it brightens in daylight.

I cannot get the little animation to kick in when I put it on the phone though.

Gotta say I’m impressed of the weight of the Apple leather case which is 29.8 grams and the caudabe sheath is 28.4 grams which I thought was very light.
