Am I the only Verizon customer who do not have any signal/service issues? I’ve had my 12 Pro Max since launch and haven’t had issues with the signal or connectivity.

I am sure you are not the only one. For me and hubby we didn't have any issues until almost a month ago and we are with Verizon. I really feel it has to due with still upgrading towers I'm in Texas. We each have very few no signal issues, like maybe once a week or once every other week. We both haven't had any dropped calls.

New phone. Verizon let me out due to poor converage area. Or that’s what’s supposed to be the end result. I’m returning the phone and awaiting that last “bill”
Nice. I bought mine unlocked from Apple, so hoping when I pop the AT&T sim in there, it’ll actually hold signal.

It’s really disappointing how poorly Verizon handled the rollout of these phones. Seems like they wasted more money on marketing than ensuring their network is ready.

Keep us posted!

I’m getting (5) bars of 5G and super fast network not 5 miles from my rural home. I only saw 5G with Verizon in major cities. Just Unreal

Agreed, I hope you find luck too, let me know how that sim for ATT works. Verizon really dropped the ball

How about all the advertising of misleading their customers about how good their 5G is!? They should be held accountable.

You have to remember that not everyone is having issues with Verizon and their 5G network. I haven’t any issues with connectivity in the 4 months I’ve had my 12 Pro Max. To be honest I have better service with Verizon than I did with T-Mobile in my area.

You aren't the only one for sure.😂 I'm currently on Verizon as well and I do not experience this signal/service issues where I am.

I’m one who had a lot of dropped calls with Verizon when the 12 first came out. It took awhile but I believe they are getting close to fixing the issue. It sounds like there are cell site upgrades making a difference. As well as iOS updates. I will say with ios 14.5 beta 5 I’m getting the best stability I’ve had with my service. Also, for the first time I saw the phone go from 5G to LTE and back to 5G without dropping a call. I don’t believe the phone was capable of that prior to this beta. So the stable 14.5 release should make a big difference for many.

I am a new user but have been browsing for years. I signed up to say I started experiencing this issue many months ago. I was in traffic and noticed my phone had no signal. I simply restarted it and the issue went away thought nothing of it after that.

I then noticed it happen again one day and once again, just did the restart. These past like two months though it started to become consistent. Now today, I cannot even get a signal at all. I can only use wifi on my phone now.

Contacted apple, they say contact verizon. I simply ended up having apple send me a new phone, not like I think anything changes but who knows. We will see what happens, very annoying though to be dealing with this, my family cannot reach me and I have older family members who need to reach me sometimes

Guys it’s been fun, wishing you faithful Verizon customers the best. Long 5 months of dropped calls, lost Bussiness opportunities and Grief. Hope we don’t ever meet again. See ya on the flip side

What was your solution

He switched to AT&T. 🙂
Yes, it’s not the phones it’s the network, and not everyone is impacted. Verizon will get it right eventually but some of us not in big metro areas or higher populated rural can wait another 6 months to possibly get service. No anetwork extender was not possible in my case for the one wondering there is a Verizon tower closer to me then the ATT one is. Point blank, it shouldn’t have happened, they dropped the ball on the rural customers and they know it, admitted it in store. I do not regret leaving, but I will say that Verizon customer service has been nothing first class to me on this change over.

Edit: ATT plan similar to the one I was on is about $40 cheaper

What’s interesting is that the Galaxy S21 with the newer X60 modem has been having the same exact issues as us. I was curious and searched for S21 issues. So what I take away from this is; it’s not an iPhone thing, it’s a carrier, software, & modem that has not been fully baked before being released to the public like many products these days.

I, too, have been having connection issues on Verizon. Both with cell signal and with WiFi. For example, I’ll be on WiFi and then I’ll ft and it drops off WiFi for no reason and uses the cellular signal. I also, just yesterday, was sitting in my driveway, two bars 5G... tried loading google maps and they kept coming up that there was no connection. Very strange and frustrating.
