my fingers apparently have more moisture on them than other peoples and TouchID doesn't work for me around a quarter of the time. very annoying

If you constantly have wet or dirty hands maybe the problem is your hygiene.
 
Prosser predictions:

Unlocked when the predictor is wearing a mask (so he can disavow them later).

Without the aid of an Apple Watch (in case someone happens to be watching).

With foggy glasses. Foggy, much like the predictions offered by the predictor.

This guy is REALLY REALLY good at fluffing his brand here at 'Rumors, Tom's, the 'Crunch, and See nett.

Maybe he gets something right from time to time. Maybe his name draws people in to tell him something or bait him with something phony.

Makes me feel like I'm drinking the "new" Coke, or watching TV on a SUNY or MagnetBOX...
 
THAT would be a decent reason to upgrade for me.
if only it could recognize me from my car dashboard without having me to move close to the sensor…
 
Truly appreciate the effort (unless it burns my eyes out).
Also add Touch ID (under glass or on the back) – it's complimentary to Face ID, both are useful in different environments.

See, I heard, from many people, on very good authority, even people here on this forum, in a "mark my words" sort of way, that COVID was going to magically fade away right after last November's elections, because it was all a hoax.

Sadly, we will have to be dealing for a very long time, with the problems created by people who think an evening's worth of reading Facebook and junk websites makes them more knowledgeable about vaccines than doctors and epidemiologists.
 
Just as long as this doesn’t increase the probability of false positives. Otherwise, I’d prefer to keep the current technology.
 
At this point in time there are Retina scanners and Iris scanners
I use a retina scanner at work and can say that you have to be next to it to work. However an iris scanner can work from a few feet away
Could be Apple has realized the problem of masks and is now using an iris scanner which is as secure as Face ID
How nice that would be
Not hearing about it till now is because the inside leakers wouldn’t know the difference of what kind of module they’re putting in the iPhone 13
Then again it could be a publicity stunt by prosser
let’s not get too excited and break out the champagne just yet
