4K is still "retina" on a 60-inch TV at a 47 inch viewing distance. 8K seems pointless in all situations except for cropping. The higher resolution might be nice for photos I guess
You sit 47 inches away from a 60 inch TV?

Ugh. No. I don’t want these crazy large files taking up space. I hope they at least allow us to change the resolution in the settings.
Exactly. With a small, cheapo camera (sorry 4 of them or whatever it is now), you're literally just making massive files. And we all know where Apple slams everybody with excessive markup... MEMORY! :p

And the base model will still be 128gb. We don't need that crazy of a sensor in a phone. What we need is a battery that lasts for a week on one charge. Any of us that do any sort of "serious" photography or videography don't use the iPhone for our main camera, that's for sure.

Definitely interested in a 14 Max without the Pro. Gonna need to wow me though to trade in my 13. Why, it still has that ‘new phone smell’!

Looking forward to new set of features and half-baked experiments they will iron out by next Fall.

"...upgraded 48-megapixel Wide lens and 12-megapixel Ultra Wide and Telephoto lenses"

Editors: a lens is not defined by megapixels. Sloppy!

How about something revolutionary and interesting like Siri, or the app store? Kinda tired about the whole, better camera, better screen, smaller notch, more RAM articles--like half a decade ago.

This could be my switch back to iPhones after 10 years of wait because Apple was lagging so far behind Android in Software and in recent years behind Samsung in hardware design as well.

But no notch, small bezel all screen design with powerful iOS is a winner.

Just give me one lens with a 1" or APS-C sensor, even if it's only 8 or 12 megapixels. I don't need a telephoto lens or wide lens with low quality and poor low-light performance, and I don't like the look of a giant camera hump with 3+ lenses.

Height is way more important than sensor size and height is the problem since you can't make a 1cm thick iPhone.
