Dare we say that the annual iPhone product revisions have nearly hit their limits to what can be incorporated? What can they offer that is that desirable to a recent iPhone owner? o_O
For example 8k could be implemented. Samsung's S23 Ultra has decent 8k - MUCH better than that of the s21/s22. I really hope Apple also adds 8k.

Sounds like a compelling upgrade to me.

I hope they will have an "ultra" option, I saw a concept (below) way back and loved the idea. Either I will get the 15 "ultra"/Promax or the 14 Promax, but there will be an upgrade.

Yes, bring back the curve! I hate the flat sides of the 12/13/14 series. I'm getting a bit bored of my 11 but I'll stick with it until the curves come back or I'm literally forced to change.

I don’t even want to think about what the price tag on an ultra model would be, but man do I love that render. Every time I see it, it makes me say “wow!” That thing is gorgeous!

Them and their BS spin. It will sell out in seconds and Apple will be surprised by the overwhelming demand. Completely unexpected as it’s the same spill every launch. I don’t care about the price as I am upgrading from my old 14 Pro Max.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo today predicted that demand for the iPhone 15 series will be lower than that of the iPhone 14 series this year. Kuo said the lower demand could make it challenging for Apple suppliers to grow revenue in the second half of 2023.

The upcoming iPhone lineup should consist of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. All four models are rumored to be equipped with a USB-C port and the Dynamic Island, which is currently exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro models. Additional features are rumored for the iPhone 15 Pro models, including a faster A17 Bionic chip, titanium frame, customizable Action button, thinner bezels around the display, Wi-Fi 6E support, up to 5-6x optical zoom for the Pro Max camera, and more.

iPhone 15 Pro models will likely cost $100 to $200 more than iPhone 14 Pro models in the U.S., according to Tim Long, an analyst at British bank Barclays. These price increases could temper demand for the devices, especially as some consumers may be reducing their discretionary spending due to above-average inflation over the past few years.

In the end, Kuo's prediction is still just a prediction, and we'll have to wait and see how well the iPhone 15 series sells. The addition of a USB-C port has been a long-awaited feature among tech enthusiasts, and the Dynamic Island expanding to the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could help to boost sales of those lower-end models.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 15 series in early September. Are you planning to upgrade? Let us know in the comments section.

Upgrade? Hahahaha nice joke. Why spend 100-200$ more than iphone 14 launch price when you can get the iPhone 14 now for half the price

Price hikes & the lack of telescopic lens in the normal Pro, will definitely affect demand IMO, I certainly won't be upgrading, because the Pro will not have a telescopic lens

With USB C, potentially Thunderbolt, a new process node after years on 5nm, new LIPO screens, the new periscope and potentially variable zoom camera, and titanium, this honestly sounded like supercycle to me

14 Pro was the underwhelming one with an overprocessed oversharp looking camera, I hope they fix that and let the larger lens look more natural without overprocessing
Many says it's fixed in iOS 17.
Sounds like a compelling upgrade to me.

2. Those buttons were cancelled as we know already.
3. RED color is also not confirmed. We have blue.

So other than that, It's very marginal upgrade.

Higher price coupled with on-going inflation will definitely lower demand. Not sure what Apple's thinking here.
Apple is thinking that customers have yet to give them a reason to not do this. People keep rewarding them for these kinds of practices. Push back for once, and Apple will pull on the reigns. Keep buying up every new iPhone Apple can make for the first six months of its run, and they will keep raising prices and adding fewer new features.
