Not to mention that the iPhone still has the huge floating notch! Not long until Apple removes that too, if the leaked road map is to be believed.

I have zero desire for less bezels. It only means that the case will be even uglier and will have a harder time protecting the phone.
The iPhone has never been possible to use without a case, it has always been slippery like a soap. Now, more or less totally made from glass and a pricetag above a good laptop, they are soon way too fragile and way too expensive to actually use day-to-day.
I don't need a rugged phone looking all "tactical", but ffs, make them have some impact areas and able to take some abuse.
The 3G/3Gs were great, the screen was pretty well protected from drops, and the plastic case made it somewhat less slippery.
Imho 5c was best regaedung holding and usability

I’ve been an iPhone user since Verizon started carrying them. Current 13 Pro user. The 14 series is the first time I’ve opted out of a new phone every year, and the route the 15 is looking - no thanks. I’m starting to be put off by the design. I do not want a telescope mounted on the back of my phone to take photos. I do not want bezels so thin I’m afraid to drop the phone on a pillow. iPhone seems to get more slippery every year. The Apple design team is doing a great job of making me check out Android options.

How about they try slim down the giant camera bump?

Or keep improving battery?

We might get less bezel but will need to pay more!

I think the bezels are fine as they are. Soo much better than the old design with the huge forehead and chin. God those designs pre X were awful. I don't know how people can still use those phones!
How do you slim down the camera bump without degrading the camera quality or making the phone thicker (which would probably make it heavier)?

I find this a super boring measurement.
Say what you will about Samsung, but they bent the edge around the corners and that worked very very well. A thinner bezel is like promoting an efficient Diesel engine in the electric car era: It's really not impressive.
Was going to say didn’t Samsung smash this out the park with the curved edge displays.

I'm sure this will not age well, or at the very least show how un-cool I am, but I need a little bezel to be able to handle my phone. I already sometimes open new emails by accident when I reach across to return to all my inboxes in mail. Also, the edges are the least usable space. Do I want giant bezels? Absolutely not. Will "The worlds thinnest bezels®" keep me from buying a new iPhone? No.
