what about the MINI???
It's dead. I share your grief but it's time to let go. RIP.

No need to defend a multi-billion dollar company. While it's true that it's basically a rectangle, you can do a lot with the contours, the materials, the back. From the very first iPhone to roughly iPhone 12, they changed the design roughly every 2 years.Okay then, please share with the rest of the class what your ingenious design ideas are for a rectangle. There are only so many ways to craft a candy bar made of metal and glass before you stagnate or repeat past designs.
not even close to be a one handed phone 😔The iPhone slim might fill in the void with its weight and size.
I wonder why Apple doesn’t just release a new iPhone every 2 years. I can’t think of another Apple product on a yearly upgrade timetable. At this point I’m sure the vast majority of users will keep their phones for a min. of 2 years. The yearly release has become meaningless and engenders disappointment.
That’s not a new feature.23. The best iPhone ever made.
A testament to Tim Cook's cluelessness.
Call your local prosecutor, tell them you were assaulted by a 60HZ MONSTER, tell them it was 6'1" to 6'7" in height and not easily held with one hand60 hz on the non pro models is a crime

Am keeping my Pro Max 14.
The two most important features in my book are not there yet:
1) lighter (my 14 PM is a brick in every way)
2) new form factor, hopefully less of a brick, slimmer
I still expect great battery life. That cannot go backwards.
All other features (better processor, camera, blah blah blah, well, they are expected).
If the 17 will meet these requirements, I will upgrade.
No reason to upgrade? From a 12 Pro Max? Bruh there must be at least 50 new features and enhancements between that and the 16 Pro. I can see not wanting to upgrade yearly but maybe only doing it every presidential election year is not often enough either.Lookin hard for a reason to upgrade from a12MAX…
Really see no reason to upgrade.
And I’m starting to wish for a law limiting advancements in telephone camera technology 😂
So a candy bar that folds then? Still doesn’t change the primary form factor of being a square shape of metal and glass.Exactly the candy bar design is pretty much obsolete, hence why flip/foldables are the logical solution alongside the candy bar phones.
Well they’re really a multi-trillion dollar company but in any case I’m not necessarily defending them so much as I’m saying the whole industry is basically this way now because the smartphone in general is a mature product category. A “new look” is different than a radically new design which is what the original comment was complaining about. If looking new is all you care about then technically they do that every year with changing the screen, new color options, etc.No need to defend a multi-billion dollar company. All models were a rectangle, and yet they managed to give the iPhone a new look bi-annually.
It's pretty obvious that since iPhone 12, the design has barely changed. I'd guess because they do that so they don't have to make big changes to their manufacturing lines, which in return is good for margins.
They made it thinner, that is not the dimension that people clamoring for a mini are concerned about. It is still too tall and too wide, using height and width as a criteria the iPhone slim isn’t even the smallest iPhone17The iPhone slim might fill in the void with its weight and size.
