iPhone 17/Air/Pro/Pro Max Cases

Edit: Tested a few more times. Results are within 5% difference. Sometimes with case is better and sometimes w/o case is better. I don’t think the case made a difference.

I’ve got the Nomad Traditional case that also has a metal ring. Downloaded Oktla, and ran speed test. I turned off WiFi (I’m at 1 bar at home), closed all apps except speed test, and placed the phone on the couch in same place for all tests. First 3 tests are with the case on, next 4 are with case off. Interestingly, case off was slower. But I bet that if I try this a few more times over the next few days, there won’t be a difference.

don’t you guys think the suti usps issue has to do with tariffs? i’m only guessing that if the usps is not asking you for money, maybe they’re asking suti or the middle man for it. i hate when companies use middlemen. just go straight to usps. dbrand does the same thing.

It’s not the TW case. Try turning the phone upside down and it will charge. I’m having that trouble with all cases.

Looks like those were just renders on their site that they've now removed for the individual pages. The photos with multiple cases, shows an Air case with the PitaTap, but I guess these are just all renders. They even now specifically say "Note: PitaTap™ is not included with iPhone Air." on the pages now.

Yes, it seems likely that it’s related to the use of a logistics company combined with the tariff confusion. Unless they move to standard shipping from US warehouses, I won’t be ordering from them again.

They are supposedly working on versions of their cases for the Air that will include PitaTap. That’s third hand, but heard it from a couple of sources.
 
Loving the Beats Rugged Case. I feel like these aluminium Pros need full coverage of the sides, unlike the previous stainless steel and titanium. Buttons feel fantastic, plenty of grip, camera control is recessed into the side which makes it so much easier to find and quickly use (it’s also very responsive as you’d expect from an apple product), and that recess also makes the case very easy to hold and handle generally.

Just received the Nomad modern case in burgundy chromexcel leather.

They sent an email after I ordered saying there might be a light waxy film on the leather and that’s what it was like when I opened the box. It smells amazing and the leather is so rich and soft.

It’s got a rich reddish purple colour and it’s very difficult to capture in photos. Actual colour is not as dark.

Absolutely in love with this!
