Phone Rebel Gen 7 just came in. Love the feel and slimness of it. Only thing bothering me is the jiggly buttons and I can see some glue lines in the back. I’ll run it for a little and see if I want to return it . PR said the new gen 7 buttons should be out soon as well.

Still waiting on my flex to come in. Supposedly there was some sort of a delay with the free pre order lense promo that was supposed to come with it. The waiting continues….

Im pretty happy with my Sheath. Yes you can see seams in certain angles but you cannot feel them.

Okay I'm loving this Phone Rebel Air (minus the buttons) so much I'm hoping the Gen 7 will be available on Amazon.de in the future. (Because ordering from Phone Rebel directly, the Gen 7 including taxes and shipping would be 80 € ($ 92,55). 🤑
The form factor of the PR Air 2 is very similar to the Apple/Beats cases. Very snug fit.

So is the wear on yours different than previous years? Like no shiny stickiness that it used to turn into?
I can’t speak to the wear yet it’s only been a month however I’ve never experienced the shiny stickiness on any apple silicone in previous years.

I can say this years material does feel different to me.

Really nicely rounded edges?

Yes and no? There’s a small seam running along the edge, but it’s hardly noticeable. The pinky rest on the bottom is also really smooth and less sharp than on the Apple Silicone.

One thing that I’ve always wondered about PR cases is why the logo is upside down compared to almost all other brands. Typically the logo on the side is upright when a case is laying face down, but on PR cases it’s upright when the case is laying face up. It’s no big deal, just something unusual that made me wonder, “Why?” 🧐
