One thing that I’ve always wondered about PR cases is why the logo is upside down compared to almost all other brands. Typically the logo on the side is upright when a case is laying face down, but on PR cases it’s upright when the case is laying face up. It’s no big deal, just something unusual that made me wonder, “Why?” 🧐

I never realized this before 😂 The Rebel logo on top is also oriented that way. Maybe it’s so people can read it when the phone is in hand? Like when I hold it to type on it people across from me will be able to read the brand name on top.

Just reached out to Caudate, and surprisingly heard from Sarah. My order from yesterday is not expected to be shipped until sometime during the week of 11/17. Needless to say, I am not interested in waiting, so I cancelled. They are still way too far behind for the late in the game imo.

That makes sense. I’m just so accustomed to seeing logos in the opposite orientation that PR’s always look upside down. 🙃

The Apple Silicone is 30.
Yeah it’s definitely heavier than that.

Edit: VinceTech weighs the Pro case at ~43g:

Been waiting a while for the 'open' Sheath for the 17 Pro. The estimate given when I ordered was "mid/late November". If they delay it at all beyond that I'm cancelling and (reluctantly) going with a dbrand grip. Might even risk a TechWoven (not convinced by the drop protection but looks 10/10) or a Rebel Air.

Caudabe - I'm not angry I'm just disappointed.

Otterbox Symmetry Cactus Leather came in today and I'm liking it so far. Its a very tight fitting case. Easily the tightest I've come across in a while. Can't see the corners popping off from a drop at all. Very good sized recess on the screen and cameras. Only fit issue I ran across initially was some bowing by the camera control button but this was caused by some of the microfiber lining being added around the inside of the button for no reason. Thankfully I was able to peel that right off and it fits exactly how it should be. The camera opening on the back is larger than the plateau itself but nothing crazy.

Still want to give it a few days of use but this might be my main case going forward if all goes well. The dBrand Grip is next to come in and will probably be the last case I'm going to buy either way.

Question for those with cases that are covering the camera plateau, are you feeling that the device is getting warmer while gaming or taking videos? I had my Sheath on my 17PM and I was playing for ~ 10 minutes when I felt the device warmer than what I'm used to.

It’s likely… after all you are covering a big chunk of aluminum right where the processor is.

Okay I'm loving this Phone Rebel Air (minus the buttons) so much I'm hoping the Gen 7 will be available on Amazon.de in the future. (Because ordering from Phone Rebel directly, the Gen 7 including taxes and shipping would be 80 € ($ 92,55). 🤑
The form factor of the PR Air 2 is very similar to the Apple/Beats cases. Very snug fit.

🥳🥳🥳 Ordered and now waiting for yet another case 😂 This might be THE one for me, though.

Have had a plateau covering case on from day 1 and honestly haven’t felt it get hot once outside of when it comes off the wireless charger in my truck.
