Just got my Sheath in Grey, this thing is so nice irl, great texture, no buttons rattle and seams cant be felt when i run my fingers over it, and the grey will hide the seams and dirt build up better over time. Shipping is crazy fast too, ordered 2nd November and received 7th November.

Okay I'm loving this Phone Rebel Air (minus the buttons) so much I'm hoping the Gen 7 will be available on Amazon.de in the future. (Because ordering from Phone Rebel directly, the Gen 7 including taxes and shipping would be 80 € ($ 92,55). 🤑
The form factor of the PR Air 2 is very similar to the Apple/Beats cases. Very snug fit.
I’m tempted to try the PR Air but the weight preventing me. If I decide , fortunately ez returns with Amazon.

Tank is here!

Absolutely amazing case, love it. The orange buttons in the Amber set are pretty much perfect match to the Cosmic Orange (Caudabe need to offer a closer match than Ember).
Feels great in hand but it does feel like a tank after using my wife's Air to take the photos, that thing is so thin and light (even with a clear Ringke case on it). I'm a big, strong boy so no complaints from me there.

I fell in love with it as soon as it was announced and that hasn't changed now I actually have it.

A couple of negatives for me:
Yeah, the camera cutout misalignment is real unfortunately. Some angles and light make it look worse than it is. It's a little annoying but not a massive issue.
And the buttons are a little easy to press (apart from the cc button which is perfect in all aspects.)

Overall, very happy. 🙂

I think I would like how the buttons are prominently defined. Some of these cases have the "one volume" button and etc and it's super hard to "feel them out" without looking.

Very Nice.

Now then .. When are we doing the drop test ?

I still have not ordered the Tank ☹️ I want it, but something keeps holding me back from ordering one 🤔

Yea, think I'm done with this preorder fiasco :(

You wont regret it, I haven’t even thought about ordering another case or taking this one off since i got it
Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s gonna be the case for me as well. First case I’m actually excited to get. Wish I’d known about this sooner, could have saved me a lot of trial and error (and money 😂). Guess because it’s not readily available here in Germany and Amazon only recently started free shipping from Amazon US, I never had it on my radar.

I ended up opening the Apple Silicone after seeing this message and immediately went back to the Ghost 😅.

The pinky feel killed it for me immediately. I really want to move on from the ghost because I hate the camera control button getting pressed randomly from holding the phone.
Funny, I find the ghost more uncomfortable on my pinky than the Apple silicone.I'm with you re the CC button sensitivity of the Ghost. I have to change the setting to double-click to activate it when I am using the ghost.

Got in the updated 2.5 buttons today from Caudabe. Very nice, no rattle, tight fit, ultra clicky, made the ole Sheath much better. Tried to get some pics side by side with the 2.3 buttons. The bases seem a little larger and it's possible the buttons are a little fatter. My digital caliper is at my place down south so I can't measure them at the moment.

Wonder if all Caudabe cases will now take the 2.5 buttons?

Notice the wear marks on the backs of the 2.3's that have been in my Sheath for the past 2-3 weeks o_O

Here are those pics:

Interesting! Glad this solves the rattles. It’s surprising to me that the 2.3 is visibly smaller than the 2.5–you wouldn’t think two tenths of a millimeter would be visible to the naked eye.

I assume that backing material is soft?

Order this yesterday in the Pacific Blue. I know it’s not OEM but damn, it’s too damn expensive to get a decent leather case in blue.

Got the case in today (about 8 days total from China to Ohio). Initial reaction is it’s pretty good for $20. Color is right on the nose for what Apple uses for Pacific Blue. Open bottom at the bottom for the people that like that (I do so I can use a specific dock of mine). Fit is real good, no camera control button so, at least for me CC is relegated to just pressing it to take a photo. Buttons are metal that match the case color, they are nice and responsive. Leather feels decent, a tad slick but honestly, most are when new. I’ll post photos later.

I can’t speak to the wear yet it’s only been a month however I’ve never experienced the shiny stickiness on any apple silicone in previous years.

I can say this years material does feel different to me.
Same material as last year case has to be damp cleaned occasionally if you want to keep it pristine looking
Case is durable , grippy and protective
