Is the celestial blue a new color? First time I’ve seen it. I got the cobalt and it doesn’t match the deep blue well. I’m thinking this blue will be a better match.
I was actually surprised they didn’t have that color available from the beginning since those are the exact buttons from the Celestial Blue Sheath which is a perfect match for the Deep Blue phone.

First impressions of Pro precise Paragon. I didn’t take measurements or weight yet.

1. “Feels” lighter and “feels” thinner than the Sheath

2. Back is smooth but not that slippery. Side grips help to compensate

3. Not as “grippy” as the Sheath but still grippy

4. Might be an allusion but seems like screen protector is over the lip?

5. If it had some texture similar like the camera plateau would be a Sheath killer

6. Seems fingerprint resistant despite the smooth back. Be nice if if it had the texture of camera plateau

7. Gives me Mous vibes but not as chunky and not a fingerprint magnet

Going to run it full day tomorrow
Does it have the same rounded feel as Sheath/Apple Silicone? Or isit more of a Synthesis kinda build

I've always used matte screen protectors, and these are fantastic (by my standards, anyway). Not grainy, smooth, and very matte. I've used them on my S25 Ultra too.
Does it collect much dust and lint along the edges? Had a Mothca one installed and while I really liked the matte look and feel, it collected every single speck of lint between the edge and the case.

I honestly haven't noticed any sort of lint or dust building up along the edges. My wife has always used the Mothca ones and nothing else and that was always my default until I found these. I liked them so much on the S25 Ultra that I decided to try them on the 17 Pro and I haven't been disappointed.

How is this going to fit in my new iPhone sock?

I decided to create a ranking for all the 17 pro max cases I tried. * means I kept them
  1. Caudabe Sheath*
  2. OtterBox Cactus*
  3. Mous (black leather)*
  4. Apple Techwoven*
  5. Pitaka Ultraguard
  6. Phone Rebel Air2
  7. Caudabe Synthesis- frosted
  8. Nomad Modern Sport
  9. RhinoShield Solid X
  10. Tineeowl
  11. ASAF case
All cases are black unless otherwise noted.
I’m surprised to see the Cactus so high on your list. The copy I had for the Air was horrible with some of the worst QC I’ve ever seen. Poor fit, bad buttons, air gaps, uneven lip—you name it, it had a lot of problems.

Received my long awaited Ryan London case today and while the first impression was good:

The second impression was WTF

The whole button area seems cheap and flimsy (and askew). The buttons are somehow glued into the case?! Like no click just mushy wobbly material. I haven’t put it on my phone yet because I’m so disappointed. And returning this will cost me an arm and a leg thanks to Brexit…. 😒
