I wouldn’t say the Paragon is a Sheath killer but I like it slightly better. If it only had the side texture on the back then it would be a Sheath killer. The best thing about the Paragon is how thin it is “feels” and the top and bottom lips aren’t abstruse, and that it offers 15 ft drop protection.
Ordered the Paragon. Does it have the "banana" shape like the Mous's do? Love that design.

I used an Apple Silicone as a temporary case while I waited for the Sheath. When I switch to the Sheath, I’m not a fan of the texture at all. Both have their pros and cons but the silicone is nicer day to day. My Sheath also has seams that are somewhat irritating.

It’s still a nice case by most objective measures, but I’m over the coarse texture, seams, and weight.

I'm the total opposite. Don't like the Silicone at all. Love the Sheath. Each to their own I guess?

Maybe you got a bad Sheath. My Pro Sheath seams are smooth AF.

Looking forward to your impression of the Grip. Coming from the Paragon, I hear the Grip is chunky. I think the Paragon is the perfect design for protection.

I've only had the Grip on the phone for a little while, but it's super nice. I may not even install the skin because I like the texture of the naked back.

It's a bit thicker than the Paragon, but not enough to make me not want to use it. I do find it interesting that DBrand removed the felt on the inside that sat against the back of the phone, but I don't think that makes it any less protective. The fit is so precise, too. All the camera, flash, and sensor openings are dead centered on everything.

For the sale price, it's 100% worth it.

thats new i remember previous versions the back marks up easy without a skin

are the ridges on the camera hump cause for concern? seems to be laying on the antenna bands themselves

are the paragon and synthesis buttons interchangeable? already got silver buttons on the synthesis so wouldnt wanna waste money on extra buttons if swappable between them 2

Yeah, I remember that back scratched really easy as well. This must be their solution, and it's a plus for people that don't necessarily want to run a skin too.

As for the ridges inside the back, I don't think there's anything to worry about with the camera plateau edges.
