What case would you guys say is better in terms of offering good protection and feeling nice to hold/not slippery and uncomfortable?

Mous Limitless Marine or Caudabe Paragon?

Running the Sheath today. Going to see. The only reason I’m running the Sheath today is because yesterday running the Paragon in certain instances, my phone fumbled in my hand, one drop on the grass and almost a drop in a store.

Yesterday I was in a store and got a call. As I was removing from my cell phone pocket started fumbling in my hand. However once I got the Paragon locked in my hand the grip is great. There’s also lots of times in situations where I rest phone on 3 fingers minus thumb and pinky shelf and in that case it also fumbled but dropped on the grass.

The Sheath all around grip is amazing for me. I know lots don’t like it but I prefer the added all around grip. However the Paragon side grip I like better.

The Paragon feels better in the hand ONCE I get it in locked my hand. It’s the transition from my pocket or even picking up from a table that’s the problem.

Like I said before put the side grip material / texture on the back of the Paragon and it would be an absolute no contest banger IMO.

How would you compare it to the Paragon in terms of drop protection? Which “feels” bulkier?

It’s interesting that the Paragon and Mous weigh around the same.

I'd rate the Grip to be slightly more protective simply because it's slightly thicker. I do like the "ramp" up to the camera plateau as it's a really nice place to rest your finger, but I like the look of the Paragon a little more, especially because you can change the buttons to personalize the look more.

The Paragon is also more "pinkie friendly". The Grip isn't bad on the pinkie, but the cutouts feel a little sharper than the Paragon.

Will Phone Rebel have a Black Friday deal?

I don’t get how the Paragon is slippery. My phone is more slippery outside of the case than with the case on, and I’m using my glass protector covering the MagSafe square on the back.
You can’t deny that the back of the Paragon is just as slippery as the iPhone without a case. However the Paragon side grips help with that.

For me since the back of the Paragon is slippery, the case is slippery to a certain point until I get it locked into my hand. For example like I posted when I was in a store yesterday my phone was ringing. As I removed my phone from my pocket I fumbled it and almost dropped it because of the slippery back. Once I got it locked into my hand it wasn’t slippery.

What kind of protection are you looking for? Chest high drops?
Just everyday protection from drops. I am not a clumsy person in general but I take my phone to the gym and work so want decent enough protection.

I am want comfort in the hands since the 17 Pro Max is a big phone. Is it true the Mous Limitless has sharp edges and hurts your pinky finger?

It’s actually not slippery to me. The back is smooth but not slippery. The textured sides help to not make the back as slippery as everyone is saying. That’s why I like the case so much because the back isn’t slippery but smooth. The Apple silicon case is more slippery than the back of the Paragon. When I’m taking out of my pocket, I’m always grabbing the sides and with the textured sides adding grip, I’m able to hold onto my phone much better than when it’s without a case.

For me smooth is slippery and the back is smooth which is slippery to me. Yes the sides make it not slippery BUT like I said when my phone is in my pocket and I take it out that’s when I feel the slip and it’s not secure UNTIL I get it into my hand and my fingers grip the sides.

Hey macher, i believe you have both the Caudabe Sheath as the Techwoven for the Pro (non-Max), right? You found the Sheath 'heavy AF' when you first start using it? Any idea how much gram they differ? I read you posted the Sheath 44gr., what about the Techwoven? Other advantages besides the drop protection you liked above the Techwoven?
