USPS says my Suti package will be delivered today (13 days after I placed the order). The only problem is that USPS shows it at the Post Office in Long Island City, NY. I live in Maryland.
Süti’s shipping this year is horrible. I won’t be ordering from them again.

I’m cutting back. Last year I spent over $1K on cases, which I admit is insane. I have the entire collection for sale for $100 and I haven’t received one serious offer. They’re headed to the local Salvation Army soon. Not doing that again…
I use to buy a ton of cases too. I’m doing 1 this time, maybe 2. But that’s it. Unless I find a 3rd I like.

I didn't spend that much but I've got a few left over but no one on MR wants them.

I bought Apple Clear but want a leather one that's not $80.

SUPER disappointed with the nomad traditional leather case. For mine at least, it has virtually 0 raised lip. When I flip it over on a table it rests on the screen. Pointless case. I’d return it but they require it to have the original packaging which I tossed. I don’t recommend the case if you want a raised edge.
I have to disagree (maybe you have a defective one?), as I have Nomad Traditional Leather Case in black on 17PM and it's great – has a smallish lip, but it certainly still has one, so the screen is definitely NOT touching the table top when flipped.

Additionally, I especially like the side & action buttons which have ridges so you can tell them apart from the other volume ones simply by touch. Also liking its Camera Control button, which is very nicely pushed out nice and flat, right towards the edge, making it easy to use, and IMO it's as good as the actual button on the phone.

Props to Nomad!

How’s the inside of the case looking? Because with my Torras Air Q3 case, the metal part holding the ring on the inside is not flush with the case but sticks out just a tad and I’m worried it will scratch the back of the phone over time. So I’m returning it sadly.View attachment 2556036
I have one and have had no issues. Absolutely love the Q3 Air.

Mine also has the same issue with the bottom. The lip is noticeably less than the top half.

Back in the Apple Clear Frost (for now). Beats case will likely be going back. Felt grippy at first, but with more use, I found it was slipping too much when trying to one-hand the Air (especially reaching to the left side --I'm right-handed, or swiping up to go home). Despite the fingerprints and general smudginess that can develop, the Apple clear overall has more grip and is lighter and slimmer on the back. I really just wish Apple had released the silicone cases for the Air. They are already pretty light and thin cases so I think those would've been a great fit for the Air. Other silcone cases just don't have the same feel as Apple's.

Even with the lower weight, the super thin sides make the Air harder to hold than I thought it would be. I'm a pretty light user, so I figured the Air would be right up my alley, but now I'm rethinking things a bit.

I don't have a need for the Pro cameras and would prefer to stay on the lighter side, so I ordered a 17 base model in Mist Blue that I'm pretty sure I'll be switching to. I'm conflicted because I like the idea of the Air so much. I think it's the best looking of all the models released this year. And while the compromises don't bother me all that much, combined with the base model being nearly $200 less, I think that makes more sense for me.

I hope the official silicone case doesn't disappoint. Haven't been able to find many reviews on YouTube (besides just showing the colors) that mention the weight or buttons (are they redesigned this year?) but if they are no worse than previous years, I think it'll be perfect for my needs.

The hard part is that the 17s are 2-3 weeks out for delivery times (I'm nowhere near an Apple Store) and I'll have to return the Air before then. Wish I could compare at the same time and visiting a Best Buy with the security/charging thing attached is never a good indicator for me.

TL;DR I'm likely returning the Air and getting a base 17 primarily because I miss the official Apple silicone case too much.

Regret not choosing this over the Suti (Clear version).

Thank you for the link. I’m ordered the Ice color, while waiting for an update on my Süti case.

Speck Presidio 2 Grip Magsafe in Deep Sea/Silver Metallic (on a base 17 white)

Always keep coming back to these; nice combination of sturdy and very protective (tons of drops) but not massive or bulky. Not the best color options this year but this blue is really nice - almost a hint of teal, not as dark as navy (a bit lighter in person than the pics), and the fit is excellent. They hold up pretty well but do honor the lifetime warranty with no drama (usually replace them 1-2 times in 2-3 years) Not as much protection as a super heavy duty case for sure but much more than most of the thin one layer cases.

I ordered one of these from Speck today without the click lock. Its what I used on the 15 PM exclusively and I loved it despite the case cracking on both sides of the charging port cutout and around part of the magsafe ring. Not sure if it I will like it since I'm returning one from Best Buy with the click lock feature due to some iffy QC around the lip of the screen.

I did not think it would be this hard to find a case worth keeping.
