Like you I am waiting for FloLabs 3D edge though, I emailed them about it because their website is extremely unclear and they said the protector I was asking about didn’t have a 3D edge (I specifically asked about the one time pro nanoarmour for the 17pm) and I asked if one might be coming but they totally glossed over that question and didn’t answer it. So I’m going with the Amazon option in the original post for now while I wait to see if FloLabs adds the 3D edge ‘upgraded’ option like they did for the 16pm last year. The fact that they didn’t have it ready to go for launch is odd, I feel like it’s a possible money grab to have people buy one now then buy another when the ‘upgrade’ comes in a couple months.

I also have a belkin screen protector left over from my 16pm that may or may not be the correct size for this years phone..

Yeah same answer from them. The interesting thing is their 17 series privacy protector IS their 3D edge.

I’ve been using it on my 16PM for about a month now and haven’t ran into issues with cases so far.

Right I did notice that, I don’t understand why if they have it on that protector they aren’t offering it on the others. Could be a mistake on their website for the privacy glass maybe.. 🤷‍♀️

If I was only the icon maybe. But the photos actually show it.
 
I really dislike screen protectors that have those black edges. It seems that ESR’s version for the 17 pro max this year has those black borders.

I’ve always felt Torras was thicker and made the case lip less protective. But the oleophobic coating was better than the flolab. Even if the glare reduction is close, I’d still miss the lack of rainbows with polarized sunglasses. I can live with that if the AR is good.

Any good "Case Friendly" screen protectors out there?

Flolab only have full coverage, edge to edge?

I don't want edge to edge.

Any chance you could post a photo of that speaker bump and if there is some kind of opening at the top to allow sound to pass? Or is the sound expected to pass through the protector entirely?
 
I've never used the install trays for any screen protectors because I fear the clip on on the edges will scratch the phones sides especially since it's aluminum. Am I just overworrying? Seems like all the new ESR 9H+ tempered glasses forces you to use the install tray. Anyone on the same boat as me?

Why no air screen protector from Apple ? But I see one for the Max …

I have it waiting at home. How is its better than the flolab 3D edge version? I have that on my 16 PM and the fit is perfect. The antiglare and polarization features are perfect. The oleophobic coating is not a as good but is less thick than the Torras I had originally.

I have not tried these new origarmor versions from Torras that have a bump that covers the speaker and claim to have some AR abilities. The video reviews are good, especially the new application tray.
