Even if they are, the install tray will likely be different. Here’s the million dollar question: Will 16 PM screen protectors work on the 17 PM?

Yeah same answer from them. The interesting thing is their 17 series privacy protector IS their 3D edge.I dont know the technical reasons why or how the covered speaker works, sorry! I’ve used both kinds and haven’t had issues with either.
Like you I am waiting for FloLabs 3D edge though, I emailed them about it because their website is extremely unclear and they said the protector I was asking about didn’t have a 3D edge (I specifically asked about the one time pro nanoarmour for the 17pm) and I asked if one might be coming but they totally glossed over that question and didn’t answer it. So I’m going with the Amazon option in the original post for now while I wait to see if FloLabs adds the 3D edge ‘upgraded’ option like they did for the 16pm last year. The fact that they didn’t have it ready to go for launch is odd, I feel like it’s a possible money grab to have people buy one now then buy another when the ‘upgrade’ comes in a couple months.
I also have a belkin screen protector left over from my 16pm that may or may not be the correct size for this years phone..
I’ve been using it on my 16PM for about a month now and haven’t ran into issues with cases so far.Is the Torras OrigArmor linked in this thread case friendly? Amazon listing shows its edge to edge.
I’ve been caseless this last year but put one on when I’m doing anything outdoorsy just as a precaution.
Does the 16PM version cover the speaker or have that little dip around it?I’ve been using it on my 16PM for about a month now and haven’t ran into issues with cases so far.
Right I did notice that, I don’t understand why if they have it on that protector they aren’t offering it on the others. Could be a mistake on their website for the privacy glass maybe.. 🤷♀️Yeah same answer from them. The interesting thing is their 17 series privacy protector IS their 3D edge.
If I was only the icon maybe. But the photos actually show it.Right I did notice that, I don’t understand why if they have it on that protector they aren’t offering it on the others. Could be a mistake on their website for the privacy glass maybe.. 🤷♀️
How bad is Torras rainbowing with polarized sunglasses?I ordered the Torras from Amazon since if it covers the speaker I can return it. This way I’ll have something for release day in case flolab doesn’t have a 3D edge version because the previous iterations before were awful. If they do I’ll but it as well.
I’ve always felt Torras was thicker and made the case lip less protective. But the oleophobic coating was better than the flolab. Even if the glare reduction is close, I’d still miss the lack of rainbows with polarized sunglasses. I can live with that if the AR is good.
If it’s like mine in the 14PM, it’s quite badHow bad is Torras rainbowing with polarized sunglasses?
Yes it does cover the speaker.Does the 16PM version cover the speaker or have that little dip around it?
Any chance you could post a photo of that speaker bump and if there is some kind of opening at the top to allow sound to pass? Or is the sound expected to pass through the protector entirely?Yes it does cover the speaker.
Yes. Worlds better than flolab. Hoping they make one for the 17 pro maxHas anyone used the newer TORRAS I think the one that didn't cover the screen at all?
You mean this one? https://www.amazon.com/TORRAS-Refle...d=1757685265&sprefix=torras+17,aps,117&sr=8-4Yes. Worlds better than flolab. Hoping they make one for the 17 pro max
