Those that have the Air, what Pro features do you miss that you don’t have? Or is the Air good as your daily and why? How’s battery life with heavy usage?
I used the 16 Pro before switching to the Air this year. While I always want more battery life, the performance is genuinely solid and comparable to the 16’s battery from last year. I don’t find myself missing the vapor chamber or the extra telephoto lens at all. Honestly, if I weren’t using the Air, I’d probably go with the 17 this year, since the main reason I chose the Pro in the past was for its 120Hz display.

Skinless Grip is the way to go 😉
I didn't even bother trying to install a skin. I knew I would misalign it, bubbles at the slope area etc. Also, these can attract dust and lint around the edges.

I think this case has spoiled me, everytime I think about buying another case I immediately remember how slippery all of them. Maybe dbrand cured my case buying addiction?

Currently also rocking the Grip again while I wait for the Rhinoshield AirX to arrive that was finally available to order. Was looking forward to that.
Also ordered two new skins (leather and the dark circuit) for the Grip because I don’t like the case „naked“ and the white holo is just not adhering to the slope anymore. It also feels sorta cheap. I have the triple white damascus here, too, but that will not look as nice for long since it's matte white. The slope not sticking properly seems to be a common problem. They might have to rethink their instructions on how to apply the skin or it's a fitting issue. In my case the skin seems perfectly aligned but it's still coming off on the slope. Not a deal breaker for me though.

Rare to see him praise a case this much makes me tempted to try it

Anybody with both Rebel Gen 7 and Paragon can do a comparison of both? To me Rebel feels like the perfect case with a tight fit, low sides for swipes, protection and a grippy fiber back, while Paragon has a covered plateau and a slippery back.
Have to remember the Paragon isn’t going to be as protective as the Gen 7.

Yeah, no scratches. Material/texture of the backplate is smudge-resistant too.

Seems that there’s not enough surface area to adhere to and it’s also curved. Probably the most likely solution is a stronger adhesive… but than the skin will be almost permanent.

I am thinking of buying the orange Caudabe Paragon as an Xmas present for my sister. She has the silver iPhone 17 Pro Max and want to get her a bright colour as she always has black cases. What colour buttons goes best with the Orange Paragon?

Finally decided to try Latercase. Took a long time to ship here witch some extra taxes, but worth for wait.
Perfectly made. Fit is excellent. Bottom part is the best that I saw with aramid cases. No pinkie pain at all. Even with magring only 14 grams!

Came also with case for AirPods Pro 3 and it's great too.
When I had the air I didn’t need the magnetic ring. It worked fine with all my MagSafe accessories even my car mount with out it

Btw, there’s a wild difference between standard and expedited shipping from Dbrand. My first order was standard shipping because that was free and it took 15 days to reach me. Today I chose expedited shipping when I ordered around 2pm and by 7pm I already had a FedEx tracking number and an ETA of December 23rd. 🤯

Glad i passed on buying the Paragon because i sometimes find the Sheath too slippery... 😂

Especially after washing my hands and there is almost no sweat/grease. However in normal circumstances the grip increases dramatically when the hands become a bit damp.

Anyone of you guys know if the Flolab 3D screenprotector is compatible with the Sheath?

Yep, I ordered the Tank and paid the $9.99 expedited shipping, and it was shipped via FedEx, from Canada to Florida only took 3 days 😵

Mobile Tech Review “if it wasn’t for the slick back, I would say this is the perfect case”.

For a silver phone in the orange Paragon, I'd go with complimentary button colors like silver (to match the phone and play off the silver camera rings showing on the plateau), gray, or black.

The darker the buttons, the more they'll stand out on the orange sides of the case.

In the shot on Caudabe's button page, you can see either silver or gray on the orange Paragon (hard to tell which that is). But it gives you an idea, anyway.

I dropped my Air in the Phone Rebel case and the back glass cracked near the camera area. Luckily I have Apple Care but I might need a more durable case.
I’ve been thinking about this and looking at the Gen 7 Air to figure out why this might of happened. The majority of the plateau, other than the camera, is barely protected. There is only a thin layer of TPU (~1mm) over the face and edges of the plateau, with no raised lip whatsoever. The case is thin and very flexible in this area. Most other protective cases surround the entire plateau with a rigid, raised lip. With this case, only the camera is sufficiently protected. This must be an oversight. They should have ran a lip all the way around the plateau similar to the Sheath (second pic), or made the entire area thicker to provide some shock absorption. In my opinion, this design severely undermines the drop protection of the case and may explain what happened to Elektrofone.
