Okay. I received my Caudabe Paragon case today. Yes, looks good when you unpack it. But: now you guys need to explain to me how I'm supposed to get my iPhone 17 PM into it??? I think the case is too small (but it is for a 17 PM). I'm definitely not going to force my iPhone in there! The iPhone would not survive that without damage...

It’s supposed to be a tight fit. That keeps the phone from popping out when/if it hits the ground.

Start with the top portion of the case. Push the phone in and work your way down to the bottom making sure your phone is being pushed up toward the top of the phone case the whole time while pushing it in then it snaps right in.
The Paragon’s super tight fit is one of the things I love about it! It definitely won’t damage your phone.

Magnet seemed strong. Till I woke up and found my phone on the floor after having it on my belkin 3 in 1 charger overnight. Oh well. Back it goes. Strange that the magnet feels stronger than my Torras ostand cases but my phone never fell off the charger when I was using those.

Even if it has a stronger magnet, the added overall weight of the case means the magnet would need to be significantly stronger to keep the phone from slipping off the charging stand. I suppose the only way to know for sure is to try it. I’m actually surprised about the Paragon, as I’ve never heard that its magnet strength was inadequate.

Caudabe did manufacture some that were defective with the Magsafe magnets in backwards. I'm sure they will send you a replacement if you contact them.

I received the ember buttons for my open moonstone paragon. They look nice, but after changing out the originals for these, they now rattle. 😭

If the magnets were in backwards they wouldn’t have stuck to his MagSafe charger in the first place and yet alone overnight. It’s unfortunate what happened but sounds like an accident more than anything else. Not sure if the slick back has anything to do with it slipping off.
But yes Caudabe is great at taking care of replacements.
I didn’t take a pic of the damage because I only have the one device to take a pic. And I already took it to the Apple Store. Case looked fine from the outside which is why I didn’t even realize it was broken til I removed my case.

Little leather action. Told myself I wouldn’t but I caved. Couldn’t resist that deep black on orange. Closed bottom open plateau bullstrap. Pleasantly surprised. Feels super thin to old BS cases I’ve tried. Fit is spot on, best I’ve had on a case this year. Amazing buttons, spot on cutouts. Reminds me oh so much of what I miss from the apple leather.

What color MagSafe wallet do you guys think would look best with my black techwoven (the only case I run now- it’s perfection) + silver phone combo? I’m debating between Navy and Black but open to others as well.

Either you got a dud copy of the case with weird magnets or your stand magnet isn't as strong as you thought it was.
My Paragon rides in my 4wd work truck jumping curbs and driving over unpaved ground attached to my Course Magsafe mount and has never even thought about moving. Something in your equation isn't right.

In the right light I can see the Magsafe ring on the back of my Paragon case 😵
My 15 pro max with Spigen ultra armour sat on it for years. I used Torras air and ostand cases with my 17pm on the stand every night and it never fell. It doesn’t feel like it is gonna fall off and it seems to stick on harder than my Torras but it fell off while I was sleeping. Maybe it was a fluke so I’m gonna try again tonight. This time I’ll push my charge stand more in so if it falls off it doesn’t land on the floor. Btw I drove around today and it didn’t fall off my MagSafe car stand and it felt pretty secure. So let’s see what happens.

I’m finding the smudge-fest on the back of my Gen 7 for the Air to be on par with previous years. I like the textured surface for grip, but it’s always been fragile (bad MagSafe ring) and prone to fingerprints in my experience.
