hmmm, ok, it is back down again. But, I was able to navigate, log in and browse around my iDisk through the use of the interface. I went back to mail and the connection was cut. But I was on...
so ure unlocked iphone is working??????
no, iSlicer has no idea what s/he's talking about. Just because you don't get a 404 doesn't mean the site is working.![]()
Wait, I thought apps couldn't do the whole "notification-by-badge-on-icon" yet. Does this maybe mean that the service for this is ready and that AIM and other things will have access to it?
I think I'll just wait for the official release, can't be far off...
Once apps are downloaded is there a way to only install selected ones like you can with music playlists?
I think you're right. I installed on mine and when i clicked on the "activate mobile me sync" button in iTunes, it took me to the following page:
http://www.apple.com/mobileme/setup...2.0&os=Mac&osVersion=10.5.4&iTunesVersion=7.7
where it said "requires software version 2.0 (available july 11)"
Heh got to appreciate people with too much time on their hands![]()
Yes. There's a new tab in the iPhone setup window within iTunes. You can have all Apps sync or only selected ones.

The Forbes article has it wrong. They say the App Store is opening at Noon. How can that be since all of us who update iTunes to 7.7 this morning have been downloading apps all morning long????
I just want my iPhone to go to 2.0 so I can start using them. And no, I don't feel like updating the firmware by downloading the pkg. I'll wait until iTunes gives it to me. But I do have 10 apps just sitting in iTunes waiting... hee hee!!!!

Ppl who have installed 2.0: Does the ITunes restore back up your SMS Messages? I'm hesitating out of fear of losing my test messages.
WORD OF WARNING
I've got an O2 SIM (just a normal O2 SIM, not iPhone O2) that I've had on a contract for six months now. I've just applied the 2.0 firmware, and I was not given the option to activate. I just get a screen that says "The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported", and now I can't use the phone.
I'm not sure my situation this is different to the other people who had normal O2 SIMs, but I wouldn't risk it, people.
it kept all my text conversations. Just make sure you sync the iPhone to iTunes before installing the 2.0 firmware.
You have been downloading apps? I dont see appstore on my itunes 7.7 :-(
