If anyone here is familiar with Apple. Apple doesn't like to clutter up their products with a ton of options and choices. They're ease of use and small learning curves. So your BlackBerry can do everything... so what... It seems like BlackBerries are for the people who like to tinker and love customizing their own experience down to the littlest things while the iPhone is more for the people who trust that the iPhone will give them a better more-friendly user experience. If you start cluttering up the iPhone with a million-and-a-half options, then there goes the ease of use and then it won't FEEL like an Apple product anymore. Mac OS X is the same way... not a whole mess load of options. The iPod is like that too... it's the Apple way. They just focus more on giving you the simplest yet, most effective user experience.
I agree with that. However, my Mac is feature-rich, and I don't feel I'm missing anything compared to using Windoze. I do, though, feel I'm missing stuff with the iPhone (MMS in particular).
There's difference between cluttering up a phone with too many options (my old Sony Ericsson was guilty of that - I don't want themes, for instance) and giving it basic features that are expected in today's market (MMS, copy and paste etc).
