Safari is much more stable but still crashes. My girl checked her email in yahoo and crashed almost every time. Also after surfing for a while it crashed on me too. I wonder if they will completely fix it.What I'm waiting is for push!
It has to do with the coding in the Application, more than it does the update. I have aSleep and it too stops playing when the iPod Touch is locked, however two other applications (games) continue to play music when the touch is locked. I would imagine that the applications can be updated to still play while iPhone OS is locked.
don't know if it's been mentioned but i've always listened to white noise or easy relax apps to fall asleep. but now with 2.2 when my phone is locked the apps stop playing.

Anyone else notice that you can now tap the lower right/left corners of the home screen to switch pages instead of swiping?

its always been like that
It's always done this. I've been using this method instead of tapping a dot or swiping for a while now.
(emphasis mine)
Licensing my ass. Why then would they care about app size?
I guess this whole "unlimited bandwidth" thing isn't without limitation.
Never buying this crap.
Oh, and I noticed there were like 40% negative rating for this post, what's everyone upset about? No really, it's not rhetorical: I don't own one, I want to know seriously what people's concerns are, and I haven't seen many angry posts here.
Had my hopes up but Safari is still crashing![]()
Yeah. Yesterday I was so happy and boasting about how Safari is fixed. I was wrongYesterday through out the day during about 3 hours of use Safari crashed twice. I do think so far atleast that I have seen, the keyboard doesn't lag as much while typing in forums and log in screens. I really hope they fix the crashing permanently. Safari is to me the most important feature on the phone and out of all the default apps and 3rd party apps Safari is the only one that I can count on crashing. Nothing else crashes for me. Only safari.
We were able to do this with 2.1.
Show me one cell company where unlimited bandwith truly means unlimited. Everyones been putting caps up lately.
And the size thing isnt in relation to the licensing, im pretty sure its more of a time/connectivity issue.

It's not just mobile companies but ISP's as well. Comcast and Cox cable both announced download caps on their customers. It is another way for them to generate additional revenue by limiting bandwidth.
And let's not forget that they also wanted to charge more to companies like Google that generated more "hits" than other sites too.
I believe it says "fair market value". Have you even bothered to look this stuff up yourself?
