Have tried over Wifi & 3G. Interestingly , now when trying over 3G it gives a slightly different message " The iTunes Store Is Temporarily Unavailable. Please Try Again Later "
Just on another subject. I noticed in the change log for 2.2 , that the homepage button is slightly different. Something about when in a menu if you press the Home button it takes you back to the 1st page & not home screen. Now I don't know if I'm misreading this , however whenever I press the home button , it always takes me back to the home screen. What am I doing wrong

James, the single click of the home button on additional home screens will take you back to your main home screen. Hope that's clear for you.
On another note, I believe there is a slight bug in the iPod software; when in coverflow mode and the track changes, the album art disappears and doesn't reload for ~10 seconds. I didn't notice this pre 2.2.
I had the same issue with the Apps store unable to connect after I updated the software today to 2.2. I tried the power recycle but no use. Attaching a screen shot. Anybody else facing the same problem after update?

But didn't this do that in 2.1.
Before my update this morning , wherever I was on the phone , a single click always took me back to the main home screen. 2 clicks took me to my favorites.

Yup that's the message I'm getting.
If you try over 3G & not WiFi , you'll get a different message.

I heard that the "Update All" button has been added back into the App Store Updates section. Is this true? Can anyone confirm?
True. What is new in 2.2 is that if you are on page 4 of your apps and you want to get to page one, just hit the home button and itll take you right to page 1 without any scrolling acrtoss.

I'm not sure how it works on the iPhone, I was cheap and could only afford a touch.
It must be the hour , could you run me through a scenario as to how this would work.

James - Interestingly I am not getting the apps store connect error message anymore on both 3G and WiFi. I am assuming it is a minor glitch.

That's always the case when you update to the latest firmware. Over the next several days, watch it getting sluggish again.It's fast/instant/smooth

You're absolutely correct here. This is new functionality and I love it! It doesn't take up extras spaces now to do updates! YES!
update all apps was removed for 2.1, I don't think it will be back sadly. Update has changed slightly though. With 2.1 when updating the app icon would appear in the first available slot then jump to it's correct place just before finishing. Now it goes straight to the right place. Trivial but a reassuringly detailed fix, I like that they fix seemingl

If you've jailbroken and are "never going back", then you must enjoy being jailbroken, no? If so, then what are so you mad about? Maybe because you can't update without losing your jailbroken status? How exactly is that functioning at "full capacity"?
