Take some advice from a Non New South Welshman :p go get a white there are going to be less of them sold and I would have to say the finger prints / marks wont stand out like they will on the black, Thats why im getting the white one :D

Did anyone register their interest for the Telstra iPhone.
I rang them up just today and they said that I will received a email or sms about upcoming locations.

I already disappointed that I can't get it this friday, I am working on the 15th.

Thought about the situation on the way home, I'm going to wait for panicking until tomorrow. Optus released plans early and they turned out to be wrong, there's a chance that could happen with Vodafone.

I wonder if I can get away with 250mb of data....

EDIT: How can you guys tell it's smudgy? Either the links are broken or you have fantastic eyes, the pics are only tiny on my browser.
 
How many people are getting Optus Prepaid?

I put my name down at Strathfield (Which is only getting 9!) and my local Optus shop for a prepaid iPhone.

Do you think I have a better chance of getting one this Friday due to the prepaid price being very costly? 800 something if I recall correctly. I would think most people would choose to go on a plan.

But, when they receive the phones, do they have a batch locked to prepaid and a batch locked to a plan?

1) there is most likely no designated pre-paid iPhones, they will be universal for plan and pre-paid, so no, there will be no greater chance
2) $729 for 8GB, $849 for 16GB

Gosh darn. I am so screwed getting it this Friday then. Sad face.

I plan on getting 16GB on the $50 prepaid cap.

Join the club. Kinda glad I didn't sell my k770 right now.

Does anyone actually think they'd be able to get away with 250mb usage per month? I'm starting to think that if Vodafone hit me with EEF's but let me upgrade to the iPhone it might be easier to do that - at least I'm kinda guaranteed one.
 
I predict I will either be incredibly over the moon tomorrow or terribly saddened.

Or a mix of both if Vodafone release better plans but won't let me upgrade.
 
So, the iPhones definately aren't locked to either a plan or prepaid? So, when the Strathfield guy said they were only getting a few prepaid ones, those ares allocated to be prepaid while the other ones are plans?

i think he was misinformed, you jyst get the phone and choose what you want, then the dude/t will ask you to sign stuff, their computer will send of info to apple so when you plug it into iTunes it will be happy go lucky
