iPhone 4 Available for Pre-Order from Apple

That's what I got, then when I checked off the "Apple" manufacturer choice at the left I got the new options.

Same here...worked great unlike the apple site.

Websites like these should really use a queue like sites where you're in line to download something. At the VERY least you know where you stand and can come back. This timing out is just poor planning all around on Apple's part. I thought it was AT&T at first but it gets through the confirmation of price very quickly... then fail.

i want to order through apple and get it shipped. do you all suggest i wait till a bit later or should i just reserve it for pickup just incase then try ordering it again for shipping later on in the day? or are you bound to the iphone in store?

Ditch Apple's website and order on ATT, just ordered mine in less than 2min. Seriously, it aint worth the wait just to have Apple specifically ship them to you.

Just headed over to att.com. Made 3 preorders 32gb black on premiere att.com account. Easy.

Wish there was a white one for my wife but she was ok with black and uses a cover anyways.

Update: my second order went through. However my first and third ordered got a order status canceled email. WTF?

took 30 seconds to process when one of our lines wasn't available to upgrade....
still going to 15 minutes on the line that has the upgrade...

anyone with past experience know what time normally arrive when shipped to the door?
thinking about just getting it ordered to the apple store to be safe😀

It did that to me too until I sorted by manufacturer.

Don't waste your time on apple website. Just go to att.com, enter your wireless info. Click upgrade. Then when you see the phones, if the Iphone 4 doesn't show up, click to sort by brand (Apple) and you will see the Iphone. I waited on the apple site for over an hour and couldn't get through. Just ordered mine to be shipped to my house in 5 minutes on AT&T website. I'm bummed they don't have the white, but it's not a deal breaker for me. It's an amazing phone! I can't wait to play with it next week. My kids will be up in about 4 hours so I better get some sleep! Good luck everyone!

I think it's funny that so many people are scrambling to pre-order an iPhone right now. Honestly what's the pressure? My iPhone 3G was stolen last month, you'd think I'd be freaking out trying to get a new iPhone. I'm not, and why should I?

I want a white iPhone 4. I'm not upset that it won't be available at launch and I don't mind waiting around for it. Apple will release it when they release it, and I'll purchase it then. I'm not going to complain about the old Blackberry I'm using as a temporary replacement. Getting the new iPhone on the day of launch verses a month later won't change my life any. Folks just chill about the website not taking preorders efficiently right now. Most of you are getting into the store indirectly, since its still not accessible through the main page. So just calm down.

There is no sort by brand option on mine. Just a filter by brand. No luck.
