I've got no problem with people checking their phones at work. It's the ones who do what they aren't supposed to (at least where I am) and text, talk on it etc. Not good for retail business especially when they're told NOT TO. And for the record I never assumed you did or even know what policies your work has in place.

haven't gotten my order through but i'm a little confused. i purchased a 3gs last year on launch day and it's telling me i can get the fully subsidized price of $199/$299 when i step through the pre-order process. i thought it was going to be $399/$499. can anyone clarify? thanks in advance.

Well there you go. You base everything on your point of view and your own little world. Contrary to what your ego believes, you are not the only person on the planet.

My work requires me to use my phone. So, I guess it doesn't make much sense to say something as stupid as "It's not like you'll be using it at work anyway right? Unless you're the type of employee I woudn't want working for me."
 
Still no EMAIL??

WTF.. put the order in at 6:05am EST and still no email from Apple store. Although, if I go in and look at my order status, it says "Not yet shipped" but its there and has an order #. I guess the email is just par for the course but would still like to get acknowledgement that its in there other than the order status.

I guess ya just got to have faith...;)
 
Reserved and canceled

I reserved mine via Apple, however, it couldn't connect to ATT to verify my eligibility upgrade so it went through with the $599.99 price. Got my confirmation email and canceled. Going back through the process again as I am eligible for the $199.99 price.

I've been at it since 5am and still no luck... I guess that's what I get for being impatient but I'm so excited!!

Success ! on the apple store with shipping instead of pickup Finally!

Looking at the completed order from Apple, it says that iPhone orders must be shipped to you AT&T billing address

Still says Delivers June 24th

Looks like things are working now, though slowly - I have an order confirmation number now, after the phone was in my cart all night.
 
it says pre orders when i clicked for the black, but i want to reserve and pick it up in the store? does it give you that option at checkout?

Same here. I reserved mine at around 3am cst when site first went live, but it couldnt verify my upgrade info either. So i did the $699 price and was going to go back now and reserve the $299 price. Wonder if it really matters though... if i go pick it up in store, wont they check my eligibility there?
 
Just check your cart on Apple.com, it should be sitting in there and you can complete the order.
