You aren't stating any fact whatsoever because you have no insight into where the problem lies, you're just guessing, that my friend is a fact. The fact that you consider their system "a simple tiny pre-order process for an e-commerce site" tells me that no, you don't understand technology, or at least not very well anyways.
Second, you don't know that VERY FEW are getting orders, unless you happen to have contacts at AT&T and Apple that have given you counts of actual pre-orders. Again, another guess on your part.
Third, what does that say about their company and products to me? It says that they have an enormous customer base and they have just released a product that is in extreme demand. I'd think that is exactly the sort of thing that I'd want to hear if I was an Apple supporter (financially that is).
