I'm sorry to hear that your clients have so many problems. I can't say that I'd want to live where you do!
I've never read anyone who has encountered so many problems with heat-related electronics damage and I've been on the World Wide Web since 1993 (NCSA Mosaic running on a Unix box).
If this is that much of a problem, my guess is that Apple (and other electronics companies) have very good statistics on the number of heat-related failures and bake the replacement cost into the overall cost of their products. Regardless, Apple's net profits are quite impressive compared with those of their competitors.

know whats weird I ordered mine at 7:38 PM PDT and mine will be here on the 24 as far as I know mine doesn't say anything else but that, weird! maybe because mine had been in my cart for a about 15-20 min before I finally was able to buy it idk!
Sounds very fishy.
Retail line employees are typically the last to find out about anything, especially third-party retail staff. Someone probably made it up (and it wouldn't be the first time some retail line employee pulled a B.S. answer out of a body orifice).
I had to do the two phone separate, Apple could not handle 2 iphones checking out same time, and on the second phone I had to check as a guest. it was the cart for about 30 mins.

In some localities, the sales tax is applied to the non-subsidized price of the cellphone. I believe California and Massachusetts are two states that enforce this practice.
His $61.17 sales tax is probably 8.75% applied on a $699 non-subsidized price. My guess is there are a dozen counties in California with the 8.75% rate. I don't know about other states.
yeah it was, i had been trying to order since the second they went up at 4 in the morning where I am, crazy stuff. Has your order status always had the July 6-8 thing under it or did that show up recently?

and then another sales person came up to her and she asked her to make sure and she said yes for sure they will be in....
could it be they had that information? maybe the white ones are coming in smaller amounts so theres no pre order
it originally said 2nd of July, but then it changed? I am hoping, for the 24th, but deep down, I know it never work out for me, I am never one of the lucky ones.

Mine was at 4:35 PDT and hers was at 4:40 PDT.
I have the same exact scenario, the orders were 6 minutes apart, but they will both be delivered on the 24th.
do you guys think it makes a differents on checking my order if i order over the phone dialing 611 instead of 1-866-499-8008 premier number.i have a premier account but the people who took my order was from 611
Yeah, I dunno. I don't know which date I am supposed to follow, the one that says Ships: Delivers etc....or the one below it that says Delivers. Anyone know?

One sole AT&T retail store manager swearing that the white iPhone will be in stores on the 24th and no one else corroborates this? Nobody? The one sole rumor of this is on MacRumors? But not on any other Apple/high-tech news/rumors site?
