any guesses?

so... what d'ya think?
delivery

Perhaps the headphones on the 24th and the phone on the 6th or 8th?

I placed my order through AT&T's website for 299 for the 32gb version, but for fun, I also wanted to see if Apple's Store would sell me for the contract price. So, I decided to enter my info and the price listed for the 16 and 32 were both still 199/299.

Do you think I can "sneak" and get away purchasing 2 iPhone's?

I would like to know this too??? I want to order another one but not worth the risk of getting both canceled

I went to my local AT&T store to see if I could get an update on the whole preorder debacle, and the manager said that they received word from corporate that there is a strong chance that most people who ordered on the 15th will get there's at launch. I'm really hoping that he was being honest and not just blowing smoke up my ass, but I guess will find out on the 24th.

ugh you are all making me jealous.... why is my tax so high???

In California, we pay tax on the unsubsidized price. People in MA, and RI do as well too...

On that note, I ordered around 4:45pm PST and I'm prepped for shipment.

Yes it's the price you pay to live next to the beach. I ordered my phone at 4:18 PST and it still isn't prepped for shipment. :( hopefully Monday unless they work on Saturdays.

EDIT: Wait never mind I'm blind I was reading the status on the dock adapters I ordered with the phone the phone is prepared for shipment weeeeeeeee :D

Ok, I couldn't help myself and registered for this forum! I ordered from Apple the first day at 7:31pm PST and was in the gap when the Apple store had the June 24th date, but my confirmation email had July 2. And I just got the "prepared for shipment" note!!! There is hope for some of us July 2nders! And I have no idea how to do a screen shot. Sorry!

Anyone else have this experience??

No Tax in OR :) also, my 3:32pm PST order has been prepared for shipment.

Sorry if this is retarded, but i've never owned an iPhone/had my own phone plan before, and everyone is showing how much they have to pay in tax, which is crazy! I live in Oregon, where there is no sales tax (i think it's one of 2 states in the nation that don't have it), so will i just not be charged taxes? What kind of fees can I expect on my bill? Thanks in advance!

Tax is based on the state you ship it to. So if you are having it shipped to OR, you won't be charged sales tax.
