anybody know off hand what Best buys return policy is on cases?

Yeah thats correct. I took one of the Launch day cases for the iPhone back when i pre ordered my Otterbox case and they took it back with no hassle.
You don't need a screen protector on your phone with the otterbox. With most screen protectors on you'll see the infamous "watermark" from the 3GS otterbox. YouTube it and you'll see what I mean.
I see your point on the looks, its what I would refer as a butt ugly case. I'll be honest though I loved the way my iphone 4 felt naked in my hands, sadly I was just to paranoid to leave it like that, so on went my Michelin case.
Has anyone tried to remove the screen protector that comes with the case? Its an anti-glare which I dont prefer. I have a power support crystal film on my iphone that I want to keep on.
I'm pretty sure if you just apply pressure to the OB protector, it'll just sort of pop off, well in actually.
Well just returned from best buy where i picked up a blue otterbox defender. Still might go back and swap it for the red, not sure. I do have a black one coming in on order also. I do like the blue color a lot though, it is a nice color! Definitely recommend this case!
Well I ordered mine from their site last Monday, and I got an email today saying it was being shipped. They give a tracking number for UPS ground, but on the UPS site, it claims the number is unidentifiable. Has the tracking number worked for other people? Should I be worried? I didn't even know UPS provided tracking numbers for ground shipments. How long does it normally take to ship? I'm in southern CA.

give it a day or two.. in general, sometimes it takes a while for UPS to update their tracking numbers
My Wal-mart has the Defenders for $44...debating if I actually have a use for this tough thing...
Beach Camera and Amazon just cancelled my PreOrdered Commuter.. I did NOT request this cancellation... I was happy with the price Beach was offering...
oh well.. I have wasted 50 bucks already on cases I don't like.. so I guess this saves me 30 bucks,
ordered a Vaja iVolution top Black and Blue 2 weeks away.. 33% of the way there!!!!

Check on the United States Postal Service site. Mine is shipping with them not UPS. On your iPhone in the email they sent touch the tracking number and it will direct you to the website. Hope this helps you.

FYI - Yes, but they do not have any "In Stock" like all the other re-sellers. I placed a order with MobileCity.com with the same discount and they were not in stock either. I just got my second email stating they are on backorder till 8/26. The various website do have them a a low cost but not in stock and no telling how long we will have to wait to get them. you can pay a little more at Best buy to get it now or what until whenever to get them at a discount.
Off-Topic slightly, but the Defender for the iPad is the same price on Amazon as well. And Amazon has it in stock, whereas MacMall doesn't at the time. I just ordered my Defender for iPad yesterday from Amazon for $53.51 (a few cents cheaper than MacMall), and will have it tomorrow, based on the info from the tracking number. Either place is a great deal for a $90 Defender!
Just got my otterbox and loving it. Just saw that I do have a watermark on the lens of the front camera. Anyone else?
Is any one else having a problem with the silicone on this case? mine seems to be stretching and it is starting to get enjoying, it is at the point that it there is a gap around the screen, and the lower corners don't go in no more without lifting the back...
Ended up returning mine today. I liked the feel of the case, the screen cover, and the port covers, but in the end it was just too big for my tastes. It seemed excessive for me since I usually just keep it in my pocket or in my desk at work. Might take a look at the Commuter when it comes out.
