PS crystal agaisnt scratches?

is the 2 piece front and back film good agaisnt scratches?

i know that this is the best for the crystal clear quailty but what about the back film for scratches?

im going to put a bumper/case on there but i also want to make sure it protects it from scratches.

I have the SGP Ultra Clear protectors on the front and back my iphone at the moment but I am not that impressed by them. They do not seem to to want to stick around the edges. The front one is okay but the back one has a lot of peeling at the edges and around the camera and flash. No matter what I do I cannot get rid of it.
If you are in the UK and want the Power Support you can get them online from Mobile Fun. Here is the link:
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/power-support-crystal-front-and-back-film-set-iphone-4-p25212.htm
Very expensive though at £27.49 which at the time of writing is $43.57!!!

Definitely Recommend!

Just received my Power Support front and back protector films.

I previously had the SPG ultra clear films on it and they were nice but the front facing camera didn't have a cutout and the sides didn't want to stay down with the bumper on. Also the SPG film was a pain to install. The PS went on easy and clean! Also, the bumper fits with no issues around the edges.

I've heard the PS films are the thickest around but I think the SPG film was thicker. Maybe it was my imagination.. Still though 2 thumbs up!

Btw, does anyone have problem with the PS back film not sticking at the edge? For some reason, the top left corner doesn't wanna stick for me :(

Sadly, I do not have a high quality camera like the OP, so I apologize for my low quality pictures.

After 36 hours of use, I want to validate and reassure others that the Power Support Crystal does not lift the edges or cause curling using various bumpers. I currently have the Marware Edge on and have used the Apple Bumper with the same results. I have Agent 18 clear on the way.

I have used both Invisible Shield and Best Skins Ever. PSC has been far superior to both. My second choice would be BSE and I even am still using the edge pieces to protect from pocket lint under the cases. Both IS and BSE did lift when using the bumper cases because of their softer texture. PSC is stiffer and a harder shield so I believe that is why there has no curl or lift.

I currently have the anti-glare on the front and love it! It maintains almost zero fingerprints and grease/dirt. The back is the clear hard crystal and is a fingerprint magnet but the fact that it stays flat on the phone and does not lift makes it the best choice. There have also been zero scratches appear so far and I do carry in my pocket.

Other then the fingerprints on the back, the only other very very minor downside is that around the front facing camera, there is a very small part that did not adhere to the glass. Again, this is not noticeable unless you are looking directly at the spot and very close. The films were very easy to install and even after removing a wandering dust particle by lifting it back up and using a piece of scotch tape to remove it, reset without any air bubbles.

Along with the OP, I highly recommend this product and have already ordered my back up set for reserve, although I doubt I will use it until I get ready to sell the phone.

Feel free to ask any questions and I will respond.

UPDATE: I have received the Agent 18 Clear and it immediately started lifting the edge. Do NOT recommend buying this case...My Review of the case is HERE

recieved mine today from PS. I have issues with the crystal film. It's lifting around the front facing camera and around the home button. Going to try and reach their customer support about the issue.

I had the same issue with my anti glare from them. It wouldn't settle around the front camera area. I tried to give it time to see if would smooth out naturally, and I had no luck with that. What I ended up doing was lifting the corner of the screen protector with scotch tape and taking a bead of water on the tip of my finger to the spot that wouldn't settle. The water helped out tremendously, the screen protector adhered to the screen immediately where I couldn't push it down or smooth it out before hand. It's been just under a week since I've done that and no sign of it wanting to lift again.

I would mention that hunting around Montreal for good screen protectors like SGP and Power Support I came upon the "Tru Protection Anti-Glare Screen Film". I look at the back and there is a sticker which reads TRU144 and then Power Support. This is for the iPhone 4.

Their website is www.truprotection.com and googling I come up with this link:

http://www.puremobile.ca/TruProtection/TruProtection-TRU144-Anti-Glare-HD-Film-Set-iPhone-4/

This company is out of California and they say the product is made in Japan.

This appears for all intents and purposes to be repackaged Power Support anti-glare. I read somewhere that this was seen at a Fido store too so I am guessing that this is more ubiquitous than Power Support in some places.

Anyone have any comments on this? I bought it but have not opened it yet and can return it.

i just got my Power Support Crystal. I was using the iFrogz anti-glare in the interim and I must say it (iFrogz) is horrible. stay away from iFrogz screen protectors, they totally ruin the retina display (all sharpness is totally lost).

The Power Support Crystal is excellent in the sense that it does not disrupt the clarity of the screen, which to me is the best feature of the iPhone 4. However, I did have a lot of trouble during installation. the amount of dust that seemed to be already on it was staggering. I also had to reposition it about 3 times. The result: I have more dust than I'd like and the corners are starting to come up. I suppose I'll try again with the second protector from the package.

The clarity is fantastic, but you have to be a real pro to install the thing.

Anyone has any idea on their take regarding cancellation of order that is yet to be shipped? Made an order for their front and back film set a week or so ago.

I received my 2 crystal film set for the front and back today and I am loving it. Like it was advised here, I did the installation in the bathroom after letting the hot water run and I must say that it helped keeping dust away.

Installation wasn't a breeze since I had trouble aligning the protectors on both sides but that was because I was being too careful to not touch the adhesive side. After a few minutes and a few uses of scotch tape to re-align the protectors, they were in place. There were a few air bubbles by the front camera and home button but with a wipe using a lint free cloth, they quickly disappeared.

I have been using the phone all day with the protectors and I am really content with its quality. Yes, the protectors do get fingerprints but they easily disappear with a nice wipe and the best part of it is that every time I put the phone in my front pocket and take it out, the fingerprints disappear thanks to my pocket cleaning it.

These screens do not affect the quality of the retina display and the best part is that you cannot even tell they are on.

I am quite happy with these screens.

looks awesome, im using the crystal film on my ipod touch 2g.

i noticed that the film's cutout for the home button is larger than the home button itself, leaving a small gap of exposed screen surface. are all screen protectors like this or just power support's?

Looks like the cutout on my powersupport film is larger than the one I had on my SPG film but with the way the film fits, feels, and looks it doesn't bother me :) Its probably just large so that you don't have to be 100 percent accurate in putting the film down. Same with the front camera on the iphone4. The cutout for it is a tad bigger than it probably should be IMO. But at least its there (thannks for nothing SPG! :p)

yeah good point, im convinced! lolz.

Thanks for the compliments.

For these sets of pictures, I was using my Nikon D3 with Nikkor 105/2.8 VR macro lens.

I'll let you guys know after using the screen protector for a few days if it will peel. So far, for the past few hours no peeling. I feel that certain cases make screen protectors peel more easily, so I guess it's a trade off. So far the apple bumper doesn't mess with the screen protector, crossing my fingers.

I will report back after a few days.

Awesome pics! I actually use to own a Nikon D3x and sold it to get my Leica M9. I grew up on RF cams (Leica) but switched to 100% SLRs for about 4yrs. I had an Epson R-D1 for a while that wasn't the best. I get a lot of flack for using a digital RF cam. I still have a Canon 10D that is my "beater" and a Leica M8 that I just sold. My brother has a D-Lux 4. Funny we come from a family that has always used Leica. Anyway awesome pics and great review.

I'm getting a PowerSupport over the SPG

I just put the back on and I think PS is thicker :D

I had the exact same problem. What I did was applied pressure on it for about a minute and then it was good.

My first post on here, just put an order for the PS crystal screen. I was wondering SFC, how did you get your iPhone screen to look like that?

May I how did you manage to put the att logo? I've spend hours and it won't work. I tried with SSH and replace the PNG files under ATT US bundles

I am using G.O.C. PRO Theme...It can be purchased through ROCK or Cydia. The wallpaper threads here in MacRumors. I used Iconoclast and 5 Dock to get the spacing. All of this requires you to be jailbroke and in some cases, I SSH'd in to alter some settings to get the placing and effects that you see.

I downloaded AT&T Carrier Logo iPhone from Cydia and installed it. Did not have to do anything else. Use the one with the yellow drill icon, not the BB one.

Hope that helps both of you. You can find more info on G.O.C. PRO HERE...please read the first post and it will help you set everything up.

Thanks for the quick reply. I installed the one you told me( with the drill) and it didn't work. Did you install a source?

I am using iPhone4 with 4.0.1 and it worked, did not have to do anything else except reboot the iPhone (not respring).

Sorry for bring off topic, but I like your transparent bumper! Which one is it?
