Which would obviously explain why there's not one single ad anywhere to be found in the Android OS![]()
I had a few apps that I came across with advertisements on my EVO. So yes they do have advertisements on the phones.

It comes down to priorities. Apple cares about the User Experience. Google cares about ads.
What can you expect from a tech company that whores out their OS to anyone that can slam together a box? Do they really respect their own product? Do they care about how it will he used? Do they care about the kind or mindshare it will garner them?

Yeah, and so do iOS apps
The OS itself does not have a single advertisement on it. What developers do with their own apps is up to them. So you are wrong, and LTD is wrong, but that's nothing new.

Actually you were wrong. You said there was not one single AD on the Android phones. I corrected you as there are ad's, but it depends where you look. I wasn't wrong in telling you that.

He posted that there isn't a single ad in the OS.
Can you do me a favour and go to http://source.android.com, grab the source code and show is where the advertising components are in the OS?
I've posted this before but and it also fits well here. The only smartphone OS with advertising components baked into the OS is iOS with iAds. This was confirmed by Jobs himself.
You do know the difference between a third party application and an operating system don't you? None of the Google applications are a part of the Android source and are separate applications.

Nizmoz, stop trying to argue. You come up with the worst points ever. Hurr durr I downloaded an app and it has ads, therefore Android has ads.
Are you kidding me, guy? Have you never seen ads in iPhone apps? Practically every free app has advertisement of some sort on iPhones.
Some people will get defensive of their tech, to the point of attacking people who own rival devices.
I have owned enough Android devices to hate them right now as they aren't all that.
I'm going to come up with the assumption that you never owned an android device at all, and just love talking out of your ass and making up crap. Like many other Apple fanboys. Android has NO ads in its OS.

Android Starting To "Lose Some Of Its Luster" For Verizon, Says Analyst
Shaw Wu at Kaufman Bros. says Android is starting to "lose some of its luster" for Verizon in a report this morning picked up at Fortune.
Because of this, Verizon was willing to cut a deal favorable to Apple to land the iPhone, says Wu.
Wow....grasping at straws or what? The first link is a joke. Oh boy, how will people ever adjust to the same buttons being in a different spot?...LOL
2nd link?....ill believe that iphone even makes it to Verizon next year when i see it. They have an exclusive deal w/ AT&T till 2012 unless they buy their way out of it.
Just a poor attempt to show........that nizmoz is just a pure fanboy![]()
How am I a fanboy? I have owned many phones including Android phones and came back to the iphone. You are nothing but a Android fanboy with all negatives towards the iphone.![]()
actually, android does have ads. go to Maps, and search 'pizza'
you'll find an ad banner showing local listings of pizza places.
![]()
but its not prevalent throughout the entire OS.
