'iPhone 4S' 16GB, 32GB, 64GB Listings at Vodafone Germany

4s day? Really?

I have a very hard time believing that tomorrow is 4s day and nothing more, there HAS to be more or it's a PR disaster. An iPhone 4 with improved antenna, speed bump, 64GB, and 8mp camera? Is this June 2010?! I have a
3Gs and would not buy that phone, so how many iPhone 4 users would??

While I love the retina display and the camera/flash of the 4, I really don't care for the case design. I'd much prefer a slimmed down 3gs style (or iPad2 shrunk style!) it just looks and feels better imo. A slightly bigger screen would be nice but nothing over 4" - those giant android phones look waay too big - is that a phone in your pocket or....

I personally hope that despite all the "evidence" the name 4s is not even mentioned tomorrow, as for a 4s AND a 5? Doubtful but would be a nice surprise.

I highly doubt they would offer a 4S @ 64gb and not on the iphone 5...
 
As for all of us, I as well only can guess what will come up tomorrow but don't you guys think they would have released the new iPhone back in June if it only would be an iPhone 4S? :rolleyes:

Anyone claiming there will be a $99 4S (assuming it is the 'high end' iPhone, meaning there is no iPhone 5) is out of their mind. Assuming they do 16/32/64GB variants, it would be something more like $149/$199/$299.
 
It will also be interesting to see if Tim Cook can sell the public on the device. The best thing about Jobs is, he can sell a pile of crap as being the next big thing. If this device is simply a speed bump of the existing iPhone 4 with voice nav, especially after 16 months, he'll need to do one hell of a sale to satisfy investors.

While I think the 4S is whats coming, it doesn't make sense for me. They could've pushed out a speed bump in June as usual.

Then get an iPad because a slightly larger screen does not magically get rid of all those issues.
 
I'm still on my HTC Evo from Sprint, and I always wanted an iPhone but not enough to change carriers. I want a redesigned iPhone with bigger screen, I don't like the look of the iPhone 4 so I'm very happy with my correct phone enough to wait until the new redesign actually comes out.

What worries me is that if Apple 'might' actually uses the A5 on this version, will they use the same chip on the iPhone 5 or will they upgrade to A6 by then...:confused: Only the powers that be will answer that one (Yes I'm started to speculate about the next year iPhone lol)

Its just funny to see a lot of people try to justify their own choices on phones, remember people you answer to no one but yourselves, not even Apple is above your choices, you buy a phone cause it fits YOU not your neighbor... Unless you want to show off your new toy in the sandbox with the other kids Lol stop keeping up with joneses!

Stupid statement. I dont want to carry that big of a device around. It is all about integrating the two things into one.
 
I seriously cannot understand why so many people have their panties in a twist over getting a case redesign and larger screen.... reading some of these posts makes my brain hurt.

+ this if you have an iPhone 4, really hoping for an iPhone 5, but would probably still buy the iPhone 4S anyway :rolleyes:

Mainly because they want to show off!!! Look at me, I have the latest and bestest! What good will it do to these people if their phone looks exactly like someone's that was bought 16 months previously. Form over substance makes the world go round
 
They're probably going to release a 4s, why cause they can.

When Apple released the ipad and called it revolutionary, I laughed and called it a big iphone, in fact I still don't like the ipad cause it's not a true tablet. It's an iphone with a big screen. Not even a damn usb port, but this thing is selling like mad and I was expecting it to fail. The average user doesn't care about all the extra crap, they just want new.

I'm sure the iphone 4s will sell out like always, but if it's just a speed bump I likely won't be getting it.
I'd rather keep my 3gs or maybe test out an android with a 4" screen.

And I'll buy an ipad when it has a damn usb port so I can actually do more with it than an iphone.

I could care less about showing it off. I dont like trying to play a game and my fingers taking up all the screen. Or trying to edit a document and it being super tiny. Those arent the only things, but just a few on a big list..

Yeah but look at the macbook pros, same design for several years now.
My unibody looks like a C2D and no one knows unless I say, "no, it's an i7."

But yes with a phone you are always walking around with it and "showing" it off. Most people can't now if it's the same design, unless they make a macbook aluminum colored one.

The point isn't that nobody should want a bigger screen, it's how bent people are getting over it. Hope that clears up your total misunderstanding!

And most people (not tech geeks) are ok with a smaller screen, I have yet to see a 4 inch Droid that looks semi-usable, or fits a pocket without looking like a freakin' 1980s 'scientific calculator'
