As if hardware was everything and software nothing. You sound like a PC guy. Anyway, go with the marketplace you like more.
Go for it. That leaves one more for someone else. Enjoy your Windose, Xoom and crappy phone ecosystem.

If the S in 4S stands for speed, does that imply the iPhone 4 is slow?
Sooo... am I missing something... or did Apple do 3G > 3Gs > 4 ?
What would stop them doing 4 > 4s > 5?
I don't think it'll be 4Gs... as well... it's not 4G... that's where the G came from for the 3.

You know what they should do...just call it....
iPhone.
You know, like:
iPod
iMac
Mac Mini
Apple TV
You dot see anyone calling the latest iPod Nano the iPod Nano 6.
iPhone on Sprint! Please be true!![]()
All I want is an iPhone on T-Mobile with a $30 unlimited data plan.

I do not understand all the nerd rage over what they call the next version of the iPhone. I am more interested in the specs.
Yes. There are very obvious reasons.
But what is Android all about?
The only good thing about Android is it enables the choice of different phones. But now WP7 pawns Android with overall better phones in quality and design.
Apart from Widgets what is so good about it?
And what do I do with the stats? Do they make me win? Do they encourage me to buy the phone? Do they project the quality of Android phones?
You are a big fanboy. Explain in fanboy terms and I'll take it.
Having been an Android user for the last few months (strictly for the cost savings), it gives you total control over your OS. You can completely change the UI, install services and customize just about anything you can imagine from replacing the stock SMS app, to the main screen to the default music player. Windows OS is just as locked down as iOS as far as the level of customization. I can also tell you there are huge drawbacks from being able to tweak it. Some apps can wreak havoc on the phone...freezing, battery draining, reboots etc. It's hard going from the elegance of iOS to android. At first it seems liberating...then quickly it becomes apparent freedom has a cost. Now I'm stuck wondering if I should go back to iPhone 4 or try and wait for iPhone 5. It's tough waiting. Love the cost savings of Virgin Mobile but hoping I can come close leveraging the family plan with an iPhone.
Sprint is the best carrier of the big four in the U.S. Please bring the iPhone to Sprint.
Apple would be making a very smart move by having the new iPhone on all the major U.S. carriers, could really put the hurt on Android sales big time. T-Mobile and Sprint have a combined 100 million customers, or close to that, imagine if those 100 million now have a choice for a new iPhone instead of just Android or WinMo, etc...
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)
I'm not buying this rumor. Not the name and not the support on sprint and t-mo. The spec bumps I could see coming about as rumored.
If this is true, a big IF, it is yet another ho hum... yawning Apple evolution. They could squash Android with a great update but it appears would rather continue milking the loyal customers with minimal updates. No bigger screen = minimal excitement.
4" screen would pretty much be the only thing that would make me buy something else.
