iPhone 4s in New Zealand

2. My friends father (i'm 14) worked for Telecom and was reasonably high up. Last year he said Apple was VERY keen to get the phone on Telecom and 2Degrees because Vodafone is TAKING A ***** LOAD OF PROFIT EXTRA THAN THE US. So it's likely its coming to another carrier. The only reason Apple chose Vodash*t was cos it was big and international.

3. 16GB is gonna be around $935, $649 US to NZ = $811 + GST = $932. Look at the new (LOL) iPod touch it's less the $2 difference between NZ and US!

Also here is a comparison between US and NZ (ALL IN NZD)

Ah yes thats what I suspected!

$932 seems an decent price for the 16GB version, I think I'll buy it :D Can't wait for the store to be back up!

I heard from a reliable source that the reason why Vodafone got the iPhone was because Telecom's customer service (there were some special criteria they had to meet, and failed to do so).... But apparently Telecom has fixed it (this may have been when their call centre was overseas).....

But moving their call centre overseas made it worse than ever. It was actually decent before they chucked asians on there...

I mean they had the majority of it overseas, and Apple required a certain %'age of it to be local..... Telecom's changed it since Vodafone got the exclusivity.

Oh its worse than that... I live in the Wairarapa (just above Wellington) and we make fun of the Wellintonians because they all come over in the weekends to the country ;)

...And we shun River Road in Masterton because every second house on it is a meth lab...

yea I did I think when the 4s comes out I will get that android is good and all but umm......dont need to finish the sentence lol;)
