Screen size looks impressive and it's the first android phone that has quiet smooth performance.

But without photostream, iTunes music match, app store and iTunes it doesn't make sense in my life. Quad core, 8 cores, it doesn't matter.

The Galaxy nexus is smooth and even the older Nexus S is smooth. There are plenty of smooth android phones.

You wish. The GNEX is laggy as hell. And the Nexus S crawls with ICS.

My friend's Galaxy Nexus is not laggy in the least and every demo I've seen of both devices on YouTube reflect that as well (though I've heard the Nexus S is laggy with Chrome).

Great.... I never said that it could not take a beating. Maybe you like to play rugby with your phone on you.... most people don't.

The SIII is not cheap it feels cheap in your hand.

And that is really the lamest thing i hear in here. Please discribe how "cheap" feels in your hand. Because it is light? I messed with my old first gen iPhone last night and it was heavy. I much prefer a lighter phone that is bigger. Put a case on the GS3 or any of the Galaxy series and it feels like any other phone.

----------

Quite simple really

GSIII is a better phone. And then you open the Android store and start downloading apps. Then it's not so great anymore.

----------

Pay $700 for a Samsung - sell it for $200.

Pay $700 for an iPhone - sell it for $450

Pay $700 for either, you are a moron. Either way you are losing money and you know that going in.

BTW, you can still sell your galaxy s for $200 and the galaxy s2 for mid $300 to $400. Still losing money though.

Buy an unlocked nexus from Google for 400 and sell it for 250.

I'm ok with that. I think that is one of the biggest turn offs for me when it comes to the iPhone. The outright purchase price is just so damn high

I wouldn't mind picking up the next iPhone. It would just hurt too much though to pay 700-800 out of pocket.

As for the OP. Very one sided review with a clearly bias opinion.

I shuffle between 3 different countries. I would be a moron to remain locked and not use the sim - operator I choose to.

It's cheaper for me pay even $500.00 more rather then get a bill of $1000.00 plus every alternate month

Question to OP

When you say Galaxy SIII feels cheap, what exactly do you mean? What do you feel? I have not seen SIII yet but when I compare, say, SII and iPhone 4(S), iPhone 4S feels really cheap to me. It feels like a brick. Well... almost. It's heavy like a brick but it's also so flimsy that it requires a solid case. So, it feels worse than a brick.

LOL, ...is why i asked. Ive bought cheap things from Hong Kong and China before that cost a lot more here so you never know. I did email them to find out shipping costs to my area.

I have too. They are almost always knockoffs though, especially out of Hong Kong. Either that, or stolen product, but more likely knock-offs. They are the kings of knockoffs. They even have full fleets of knockoffs automobiles!

Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note sales were extremely strong, and they broke records for Android devices.

I'm going to stop replying now because you keep posting more and more rubbish every time you post. You're clearly not interested in facts, just fake information from your Apple bubble.

So those Samsung phones sold so well they must be the best sellers?

Well no, No1 selling smartphone ....... iPhone4

Must be 2nd best then?

Sorry No2 best selling smartphone ........... iPhone3gs

Well third place is better than nothing

oops sorry 3rd place goes to ........ iPhone4s

Gotta realise that the 4s was only on sale for 3mths of 2011

FYI

I don't normally participate in these bun fights but it was just too easy :D

Apple products are made in China and they have to have authorized resellers. Im tying to find if it is legit or not out and things are cheaper in other countrys than they are here. I dont think Apple is thought as highly there like it is here.

No big deal if it isnt. I have friends who own a Apple repair store where they fix things that people break(screens, buttons, etc) and people sell them things all the time so i can get cheaper iPads, Macbooks and such if i want to from them. They also fix Androids now. Just thought these were new on that site and id be interested at those prices if it is legit.

Android Authority just finished their review as well.

Even though they are an android site, the reviewer actually felt the Galaxy Nexus was a bit laggy. So he's definitely able to say what he feels even if it may go against the grain. When he reviewed the HTC One X he called it the best Android phone on the market, even though he had the Note. So he definitely isn't biased towards Samsung. But in the Case of the GS3 he concluded: "Going back to my Galaxy Note is going to be very difficult. Make no mistake folks – this is quite simply the best smartphone in the world."

Gotta love all dem electrifying reviews. I was sold before the GS3 was reviewed and now I'm more hyped than ever to get the most electrifying phone in mobile entertainment. As The Rock likes to put it, Finally! The GS3 has come back to...

Lol I guess the answer depends on who you ask.

Sorry. Too easy to dispute

That's opinion.

Oh, and there's a few reports on iPhone having the best customer satisfaction, and lowest return rate for Smartphones; and Android having fair to good customer satisfaction, and the highest smartphone return rate. So I guess it's more than just a pretty device, and OS design. It's good to see that you do realize iOS is better designed though ;)

Apple has the best customer satisfaction, because you can take the phone to a physical store and have it fixed or replaced, sometimes on the spot. Staff is usually always friendly and helpful. Phone service is pretty good as well. You compare that to Samsung which depends on cell servce stores, phone service or postal service and it's easy to see why Apple comes on top.

But, saying Android phones have the highest return rate compared to Apple is a biased and skewed result. Last estimate I saw was Android phones activating more than twice that of iDevices, DAILY! Not to mention how many crap Android phones are on the market. Of course, more Android phones are going to be returned. It would be better to look at overall percentage returns of high end Android phones by manufacturer.

Most phones pre-ordered: Samsung Galaxy S3 with 9 million units. That's sold, not shipped. And you can't even get one in the U.S. yet, one of Samsungs largest markets!

First company to sell 50+ millon smartphones in a quarter. Analysts predict Samsung to be the first this quarter, thanks to the S3.

Samsung may be best known as Samesung by Apple devotees, but it is the only company matching Apple pound for pound in the heavyweight class.

...Except for one "teeny" exception...PROFIT! Apple takes 75% of the profits with only 9% of the market. You can do the math. :D :D :D

You forgot one little thing. In addition to phones and tablets Samsung makes profits from LCD and OLED panels, CPUs, RAM, DRAM, flash memory, TV sets, DVD players, home theater sets, digital cameras etc. Apple profit in these markets? It's 0%.

Who cares about that? You arent collecting any of it
That only means you and others dont mind being ripped off by Apple. They have been doing that for decades. Man you are a ball washing fanboy arent you.
