The problem that those of us who arrived in Louisville last night have is that UPS has no control over US Customs. If for whatever reason, Customs does not release the shipment in time for the pallets to be broken down and run through the sorting process in time to make it onto an overnight flight, That's life.

I hate to say it, but, you probably shouldn't believe either at this point. Sorry, I'm in the boat with you pre-delivery alert yesterday and all.
BTW, despite the pre-delivery notice, the big brown truck sailed by the house right on schedule today without stopping.
I am in that boat too. I think it is also possible, though, considering how goofy some of the tracking has been, that the phones may already be through customs and the tracking just hasn't updated yet.

I would trust the tracking site more than the email. BUT.... It looks like yours is at the mercy of customs if your tracking info is accurate (no Louisville departure), so both dates may be optimistic.
Take this with a giant grain of salt, but live chat just told me that our phones are still in Louisville, and have not passed customs yet.. (arrived last night around 2am)
If that is true, I'd think a lot of folks behind us are going to be pretty upset...
Don't worry about that. If tracking says it'll arrive Thursday, 9/27, by end of day it's safe to expect that.
I'm in the group with 10:30am arrival in Chek Lap Kok that hasn't done anything since last night.
The UPS tracking format makes it pretty easy to check other packages shipped at the same time. Checked a few others heading out to other parts of the country and they all showed the same status as mine. Hopefully they get moving or are already moving!

I'm in the same group, no updates. No one in that group has. I've checked about 10 random tracking numbers in our shipment and they all show the exact same thing.
10:30 HongKong - we won't leaving until tomorrow morning about 6 central time. Based on this site http://www.hongkongairport.com/flightinfo/eng/cargo_dep.html UPS63 leaves at 7:15pm HK time. Then stops in Alaska to refuel and then to Louisville.

Well, my mother's 16GB arrived in Louisville, KY at 1:23 am and I'm expecting it by end of day tomorrow (Expedited). My own 32GB went arrived in Louisville, KY at 12:50 am and was delivered to the Los Angeles area same day at 10:03 am (Express) so it's perfectly doable.
if my phone is going to Canada, does it also have to go US through customs in Louisville? I mean, it needs to go through Canadian customs either way. Would be maybe a good thing to avoid the US ones, considering current situation.
Do you mind if I ask how long between your Louisville arrival and release from customs?
Mine was on the same flights so there's hope mine has been cleared finally too.

It appears to me that once the shipments hit Alaska, tracking becomes reliable. Someone on our Incheon > Alaska > Louisville flight last night posted right after noon that he had received an Import scan. It looks like they are slowly clearing the cargo of the flight through Customs, as evidenced by TahoeBlue, however, time is running out for today.
