iPhone 5 Available to ship:2 weeks / Delivers Oct 5

update: ordered ~11AM PST 32GB Black, status changed to preparing for shipment and cc charged last night, email notification from Apple ~5AM PST this morning that it has shipped! Original ETA was Oct 5.

That's basically the same time as me (430AM eastern time equals 130AM Pacific time).

I am in same boat as you.
 
Super confused by where my iPhone is and when it will deliver. On the other hand, it'll be here soon.

VZW 64GB blk

Anyone out there with a VZW 64GB Blk with any new updates? Ordered 345am EST on Apple.com. During order said 9/21, email said 10/2. No charge, no update. Just processing. I am seeing 16gb & 32gb in this thread starting to move, but no mention of 64GB Blk for VZW. I could have missed it though. I feel terrible, this order was for my dad. He could not wake up in time. He does not have a VZW login, and orders all the time from Apple.com, so we thought that would be the best route for him.

I however ordered through Verizon and got through right away and my order delivers today.

Guess I will be hiding mine until his gets shipped. :(

Glad you guys are getting movement on your orders. It helps to see that happening.

My credit card has been charged. Preparing for shipment. But I haven't received any email from Apple yet. I even checked in the spam email box.
 
Preordered on the 14th around 10 am and showing preparing for shipment as of last night with Oct 5 delivery. My wife walks into AT&T this morning at 10 am and walks out with new iPhone 5.

So frustrating
 
Just wanted to note mine shipped last night too and although there's no estimated delivery date, it says "Shipped by UPS Worldwide Express" which is: "A faster one-to-three day shipping service with guaranteed morning delivery times throughout the world"

That's gotta be good, right? :)

FYI: Ordered mine 20 minutes after Apple.com went up with preorders, got the 2-week/Oct 5th delivery date.
 
Seriously frustrating. I want to cancel. I could have it NOW but i have to wait because you can't cancel after "preparing"

BTW do any of you have a serial number on support profile?
 
I just cancelled my order as my local AT&T store has 10 black 32GB phones. How long before my eligibility is restored? I have seen 5 - 10 min, but it has already been at least that and my eligibility is still not restored.
 
Ordered 32 gb black from Apple Iphone app at 7:07EST on 9/14 and still processing- no charges on credit card- could it be because Chase (my credit card) was off-line for a couple of days???- bummer!
 
i am getting seriously frustrated by the lack of movement on my order when everyone elses is moving.
 
Has anyone who ordered directly from Apple, an ATT/32gb/black around 7:30am EST seen any movement from processing and 10/5 delivery?

Same phone. Full pay (as replacement for iPhone 4- still under contract). Ordered @ Apple.com 7:30a ET launch day. Submit order page said 9.21 delivery. Final thank you page said 2 weeks. Email confirmation said 10.5. Order status read processing, until this morning. Now reads Preparing for Shipment. I'm in North Carolina, USA. Haven't checked credit card for actual payment yet.

I'm in the same boat. Ordered 32gb black at 6am EST

Still processing, no charge on my card. Chase CC as well.
 
I 5 phone Ready to Ship

I ordered two (2) I phones (white 16Gb and black 16Gb) via Apple.com at 3:56 am and 3:59 am EST time and I just checked my order status and at 11:20am this morning they went from processing to preparing to ship. :)

A person in my office order at 4:01 am est (black 16GB) and his as gone to prepare to ship as well.

I hope this helps all who ordered from apple.com right after that 3:40 am time frame.

Great! This helps. My dad says he has not been charged yet. I am in SC, BTW.

Just good to know that there is someone else out there. Glad it has moved forward for you. While I know one order has nothing to do with the next, it is good to know someone out there who has similar specs has had some success. I could not tell from this thread if it had to do with specific models or cell companies in regards to some getting shipped and some still processing.

On a side note, I had to change his plan when I pre-ordered for him. My order though VZW.com was much more smooth. I am not sure if it was because I was already on the Share Plan.

Fingers crossed for movement today! Good luck to all still processing.
 
Ordered at 1:17 AM PST and still processing. Can't believe people ordered after me have already had theirs ship.

64 GB black iPhone 5 AT&T. status changed to 'prepared for shipment' this morning. :D

hasn't officially shipped yet and neither UPS nor fedex show the shipment when i enter the reference number.
 
Had a Oct 2 delivery date. Cancelled, walked to nearest apple store stood in line for 3 hrs and now i have my phone. It was a fun experience, they provided coffee and water and always were up for questions and discussions. I highly recommend ppl with Oct dates to cancel and walk into an apple store. They had alot of phones. Good luck!
