Yeah Apple really screwed you by going ahead and prepping your order for shipment to be delivered at least a week earlier than their promised October 5th date. You decided not to cancel your order when you had the chance and decided to take that risk so that's in no way Apple's fault.

Ouch that must bite. I mean i ordered later but mine just shipped out today when i had Oct. 5th delivery at first
It does. But, for my dad actually. I helped him with his order. His was thru Apple.com. Mine was through VZW.com. Mine arrived in the last 30 minutes by Fedex, where his went from 10/2 to 10/5 in about the same time span on Apple.com.

Although I got an email notification of my AT&T CSS twice, once on the 19th and again last night.
I did get the upgrade fee waived via tech support chat when I received the CSS the first time.
But again, still 10/2, hasn't budged since I ordered.

I ordered around the same time and mine is still showing processing. What carrier? what color/size?
Att White in 32. I mean i was playing poker when it the preorder went on and was hesitant on deciding the color. If i was not hesitant i prob would get it delivered today.
So mine is still stuck in 10/5 delivery (64GB, black, AT&T, ordered 8AM EST). To make me feel a little better, just ordered one of the new Speck cases for it.... They thought it would ship out today, so may get it before the phone... Sigh.
I have no reason to lie about something so dumb. If you'd like, I can take a pic of the phone and the "orders" page on apple.com to prove it.
Lol this is putting me on tilt. On UPS my product says World Ease and my weight is 0.4KG which is 0.88 pounds.
My white 32gb has shipped. Apple's email said delivered 9/27. UPS' site does not have a delivery date. I called UPS and they said it would be 9/26.
The sad thing is I went to the AT&T store 2 hours ago. I was met at the door by a salesperson who said they had them stock and would get me one right then.

Ordered a 64GB black ATT 9/14 at 3:30 AM PST. Had no changes whatsoever until this morning when I got my CSS email and just now my card finally got charged. Still says processing on apple though.
This is true.. I know someone who ordered 16 gig AT&T black and never got an email for anything.. They ordered it afternoon of 14th and it showed up today.. Wish I could be that lucky

Nope. He got an email yesterday from AT&T thanking him for being a customer.
It still says "processing" on the apple site.
My guess is that he got lucky. I wouldn't be waiting around the house for the UPS guy. I ordered my phone a few min before him and I'm empty handed.

Lol, he got the 16 GB. If it were a 32 GB I would have to take a trip to AT&T and get the phone connected to my line. JK (not really)
The second phone I ordered has been saying shipped since this morning and the first phone has said preparing for shipment since last night.
