Mine hasnt been charged yet, but am Preparing for Shipment now. They seem to be doing it all weird, or banks are reporting it all differently. Most likely the latter
 
I ordered my ATT black 16 gig on the 14th at 6am EST. from Apple.

My Credit card was JUST charged... The Apple site still says Processing Items, with a delivery date of October 5th... That date has remained the same since day one.... I also received my ATT CSS email on Saturday the 15th...

I'm in Western Massachusetts... Figured I'd post for anyone keeping track of all this...
 
My status changed to "preparing for shipment". Not only that, but my 10/5 delivery date got pushed back to 10/9. WTF?! :mad:

Same with me. Don't know when it was updated yesterday to "Prepare for shipment" but it was about 24hrs or less when it changed to "Shipped" with a tracking number. Email came in this morning about 7am east coast time.
 
Apple web store just charged my card today for my 32gb black AT&T model. My order is still showing as "Processing" with a delivery date of Oct 5th. Apple typically charges only when the item ships, so for those of us who are still seeing the same "Processing" status, do not fear. I'm almost positive that our status will change tonight or tomorrow by latest and with a new delivery date of Sept. 27th or 28th (latest).

My the force be with us all... :cool:

Aargh. Am in meetings all afternoon. Maybe I'll give them a call (or the Grapevine store) later to see if they have any of the 64GB black ones left.
 
My phone is In Transit at ZhengZhou but no estimated shipping date. Looking at the earlier pre-order threads, though, it looks like I'm 5-6 days from delivery.
 
Preparing for Shipment.... Finally

I ordered an AT&T black 16GB phone at 1:05AM PDT. This was the soonest I could get in starting at midnight using a Mac and iPad continuously.

I was at Processing with no credit card activity until about an hour ago. I took a break from work to watch the space shuttle fly around west LA (really cool!) and when I rechecked it now shows Preparing for Shipment with a pending charge on my CC.

If it ships today or tomorrow, I should get it next week.

LOL! I was doing the same thing from Downtown LA in one of the high-rise buildings. Lots of folks were on the roofs! As soon as Endeavor finished doing a lap around downtown (with two fighter jets escorting it--super cool!), I went back to my desk where the screen was on Apple's website with my shipment status. I refreshed, but no change... haha.

My uncle walked into the store and picked up a Black 32gb at the AT&T store at 8am this morning.

My coworker called the local Verizon store and asked if they had the 32 white, they said no...she said well tell me where I can get it otherwise I am going to the AT&T store because I hear they have it and I want my phone today. The girl put her on hold and said come down to the the store I am holding one for you...she went on her lunch break and picked it up!!!!!!!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I AM NEVER PRE-ORDERING AGAIN!

There's something about ordering from Apple that makes me come back to it year-after-year... However, I think I've learned my lesson. Next year, AT&T store it is.

Seriously, lesson learned! AT&T store line it is next year!
 
Just checked and my Oct. 5 delivery iPhone just shipped. Shows up on UPS in ZhengZhou, China. So I'm guessing Tues/Wed next week.

If anyone is wondering I ordered around 11am central time on the 14th.
 
ordered mine sept.15th I dunno what time exactly but in the afternoon.

still says "Processing" :mad:

No hold on card, nothing. Just "Processing," since the 14th.

Ridiculous.
 
the only email you should get is when it's out for shipment. they should email you a tracking number.

things are moving along and they are working through the orders. If they are up to 4:30 am (Eastern Time) then that's at least promising.

For those that ordered in the next hour or so after that. :cool:
 
Ordered Sep 14th about 7:30 EST, two black i5 16GB...

First order placed: processing items
Second order placed (5 minutes later): preparing to ship... since about 5am this morning

no charges to card, and plenty of people who ordered afterwards (even the next day) saying they already have tracking :p

There really doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to which orders are getting processed/shipped in what order...
