This sucks. I ordered a Black 32GB, which one did you get? Hopefully, when we get ours, we won't have the problems with the "scuffs" or the "yellow tinted" screen. I actually HATE the yellow tint, I wish they could just give you the option to change the color temp instead of having to go and replace the phone.

Anyway, still no change in my order.

Just update for y'all. I was Oct 5 delivery.

Went to AT&T about 9:30am and got a couple. I just canceled my pre-order through the Apple Store app about 20 minutes before going into the store. And, had the cancellation email on my phone to show in case they didn't have it in their system.

AT&T said they will give you a golden ticket if they are out and you get one off the next shipment--which might be sooner than Oct. 5.
 
Went from "processing" to "preparing for shipment" And the delivery date is Oct 5th. Ordered a Black 32g for AT&T, however I also ordered a Black 16g for AT&T and that one still says "processing". Both phones were preordered on the 14th.
 
well if we DO get it Oct 5, don't expect a shipping email yet. Probably wont be until late next week or next Friday.
 
16 gig now preparing for shipment .. So both orders now waiting for that shipment notice.. Come on.. time for you to come home

It is absolute BS that ANYONE who pre-ordered the 14th be it 12am or 3pm doesnt have their phone at LEAST shipped today yet we can walk into varies stores and pick one up or go to an apple store this weekend or next week when they get more in stock. ALL pre-orders shouldve been accounted for even if that means no extra stock was left at any stores. That is poor planning and customer service. Like some one said you either do pre-orders or make people wait in line not both. Prepared for shipping or not EVERYONE should be allowed to cancel & go get their phone.

I pre-ordered 9/14 @ 6:45am / 32gig black ATT. Maryland resident. Still showing processing with no charge to my card yet. I also didnt get one today because i had a small window on lunch & just wanted to see if any stores even had stock which BOTH apple stores did but ATT stores didnt after 12pm.

Pending AmEx charge since late last night.... Switched to preparing to ship, overnight. So been preparing to ship for 12+ hours now.
I note that in China, it's approximately Saturday 5 am -- Do they ship outgoing from China on Saturdays? Sundays?

Hoping it actually gets shipped today or tomorrow.

But they're not up to 4:30 b/c that would imply that those of us who ordered before that time have some updates. My stupid order is STILL processing! :mad:
 
My iPhone just showed up under my apple support profile. Does anyone know how many days this batch of shipped phones will take to get to Long Island, NY? My order went through at 4:50am 9/14

Yes, the initial pre-orders shipped from China on Sunday.

Still in processing. Received an email yesterday afternoon, from apple to contact them and then the CSS email from AT&T this morning. Contacted apple, was reassured nothing is wrong and order will be shipped as soon as possible.

Per apple web site: Processing Items.
No charge or hold on card.

I believe you use your phone number (the one you have on file in your apple account) as a reference on the UPS tracking system.

The serial number will show up on your Apple Support profile page.

Click on Tracking in the "menubar" then on the left click on "Track By Reference" and put in your billing phone number as the reference number.
 
Apple.ca unlocked orders

Started lurking this thread this morning since there was no activity in my order until about an hour ago since going into Processing Items on the day of order.

Ordered: Sep 14 at 6:25am EST; received confirmation email at 6:35

It has now changed to:

Preparing for Shipment
Not eligible to cancel or return
Why?

Available: 2 weeks
Delivers 9 Oct via Standard Shipping

Here's hoping it will come before Thanksgiving (Canadian) long weekend!
