iPhone 5 Shipped Thread

Pre-ordered Sep 14 in afternoon from Apple online and shipped today Sep 29. Was supposed to ship Oct 9-10 so I am pleased as I might get it by next Friday before I fly overseas. Can I hope that I will get it by Friday?

Shipments are definitely ahead of schedule.

Posted this in another thread also to give people hope.
Maybe I am dreaming and the Apple site actually said DELIVERS by Oct 9-10 in which this is definitely not as good of news as I thought.

Anyone know what this means from UPS

Richmond, BC, Canada 09/29/2012 9:08 A.M. Pkg shipped; delivery being scheduled

? It shouldn't need to be "shipped" from Richmond since that's less than 30minutes away from my house. The usually just say its on a truck out for delivery. I'm nervous to leave home in case they try to deliver today, though I don't think they deliver Saturdays.
 
Finally Shipped

I just received an email from AT&T that my 32GB iPhone 5 has been shipped!!!! I pre ordered mine on september 15 and my estimated delivery date is mon. October 1st. I am so excited!!!!
 
Finally! Just checked my order status and without no email the page shows that it's already shipped and on its way to me. Too bad ups is closed for pick up on Saturdays. Will be delivered Monday. :)
 
Ordered Sept. 16 because I didn't realize you couldn't buy unlocked in-store in Canada...ugh. Oct 11-17.

Still processing...

Both of ours shipped this afternoon. Almost exactly 14 days to the minute, which was earliest ship promise. Shipping via 2day air. One via UPS and one via FedEx. Both coming from Texas.

So, tell me, how did you get one on FedEx and the other UPS? Cause next time, no way am I choosing UPS if I get a choice!

And coming from Texas? Not direct from Apple then?

No - there was no indication of anything different than other times I've ordered phone online. Very odd, but, after the hassle of having to go to ATT store, so far, so good.... worth the wait, for me.
 
Would anyone here please share their experience with the FedEx "hold at location" feature or the UPS "My Choice" change delivery option to hold at a UPS store?
 
UPS IS PISSING ME OFF. They are way too inflexible. When I originally ordered my phone, the delivery date was 10/4. Then it became 9/28. I knew I'd be traveling so I called them, told them I would not be home, and to please hold off delivery until when I would be home (about 4 days later). It's too long of a story to tell at this moment but it's required multiple calls to both Apple and UPS. :( Yes, it looks like I'll get the phone. :)

I am not happy with UPS now either.

Of my two phones coming, the one coming FedEx is out for delivery. The one coming UPS, is still in Dallas, Texas.

The UPS one was picked up from its origin in Fort Worth, Texas 34 minutes before the FedEx one left it's origin in Fort Worth, Texas.

What gives UPS?

To make matters worse (JK) the FedEx one is my spouse's.
 
Anyone's shipped Sunday 9/30?

I ordered 9/15 in store and just got e-mail that my order shipped but not getting any tracking update on the UPS site :( I ordered a 32GB black. I just keep looking outside hoping to see that wonderful brown UPS truck lol
 
Hi there, i have ordered an iphone from the polish apple web store and it wont come until the end of october. Is it possible to cancel the order before it ships if I can get the phone elsewhere does anyone know?

yeah you can do that.. just cancel it online or call apple directly.. your CC wont get charged till it ships.. so if the order is still processing it's safe to cancel
 
Mine is out for delivery for the second time... skipped school to make sure they don't get away with it! Hah. And so I could buy some Lady GaGa tickets.

I took today off work because my phone is suppose to be here. FEDEX says by 3 and they are really KILLING me since it is already 1! They are taking their sweet time... I wish they would HURRY!!!!:eek:
 
I have a phone scheduled to come to a Verizon on 10/5. It says shipping 10/5 when I plug in my preorder number.

I will be getting the phone and switching to Verizon at the store.

Anyone have an idea if I should expect the phone friday?

I'm in the same boat except I'm waiting on UPS. This pre-order process has sucked!
