Now to go unbox it!

Yes, finally got it, the next day. I called that night to the UPS main number and raised a fuss. They finally figured out I wanted the phone and delivered it the next morning. Sheesh.

Just spoke with an AT&T rep, I ordered my black 16 gb a few days ago, asked about the backorder which was showing up like many of you and she said that there are no iPhones on backorder and they're just sending them on as they're received. Not sure how legit this is but oh well

I made the mistake of pre-ordering from Radio Shack here in San Diego on Friday 9/14 (the day pre-orders started). They say nothing has arrived and no ETA. But they got my $. So I wait.

Incredible, I used Milo to get my co worker a 16gb Verizon Black iPhone 5 last week. The Radio Shack by Mission Valley... they had plenty last week so... I just can't seem to comprehend how those who pre-order is still waiting when they had stock (They - Radio Shack) just last week.

I also went ahead and ordered another one today via Verizon who claims to ship by the 26th of this month.

Nov 6-13 is more like 4.5-5.5 weeks. That kind of sucks. If you order from Verizon directly they claim to ship Oct 26, which is 3 weeks from today.

64G black iPhone 5 ordered through Verizon on the 24th. Estimated ship date was October 19th. Called on the status to Verizon today and they gave me the tracking number saying it'll be arriving today. 17 days early.

i feel that if i were to call they'd say "It's still in process."

I have a ship date of the 26th--anything i can say to speed this along?

Ordered a Black Iphone 5 - 32GB.

They (and the email) informed me it will take 14 to 21 days.

Today's status is 1 Backordered.

On the same day I ordered a White 8gb Iphone 4. They said it was backordered.
They (and the email) informed me it will take 3 - 5 days. Its on the truck for delivery today.

so i have been on here a few times and thought i should share my iPhone quest.
I had made a preorder for 2 16GB black iPhones through the Verizon website on 9/30/12 for shipping 10/26/12. today i decided to try Sams Club and they had a lot of 16GB Black in stock for $197.00 , so i purchased them there and canceled my original order. i just wanted to throw it out there for those who might want to try their luck at Sams Club. also I didnt have to pay a membership, they were running a free weekend membership promo.
