iPhone 6 & 6 Plus Sprint Pre-Order Thread!

I love when people call me names such as child when there on the same forum as me. But when I respond back I'm labeled a troll.. If you don't like my post just don't respond. That would be the ADULT thing to do. Since you're to grown up for an Apple blog.

My apple.com app orders
The 1 I ordered via sprint's mobile website hasn't moved.
I ordered as soon as the apple app was available which was 1 hour after launch and it went down again and I ordered my second 1 an hour later.
I gave up after the 2nd one then ordered my 3rd on Sprint's mobile website during lunch around 11am CST but it's still showing 9/19 because there site was still having issues and they didn't get many orders.
I'm expecting all 3 on launch day but if not, I know I'll have at least 2/3.

I can understand people being upset. Think about how I feel, I have NO PHONE!! At least some of you guys have a phone, so really you are just waiting for the coolest new phone. I wish my iPhone hadn't broken 3 weeks ago. 
The possibility of going 9 weeks without a phone is insane, and my money is locked in (so I can't back out and just get an older iPhone).
Anyways, I agree that it wasn't advertised as being delivery date. In fact, at midnight during pre-orders there was a warning about shipping delays. So they did tell us. I just think it sucks that I. They take out the full amount when they aren't ready to deliver for 3 weeks. and II. That apple had a launch with such a poor supply stock.
It makes me mad, because a friend I know that works for Apple said that the majority of the 6 + stock (even for Sprint) will be going to Apple stores. I guess that's not like shocking news. It's their store and all, so it makes sense. But I mean hell, if you can't even get the carriers stores to have any allocation at launch (and so many people already paid for it in full), that kind of ****in sucks. Going to be real lame when people line up at an Apple store, and are able to score a 6 + Sprint version there, when Sprint Stores won't even be getting 6 + at all.
But thems the breaks. No idea what I'll do without a phone. Kind of effecting my job.

Well said.. They shouldn't charge you full price if they can't provide product on the launch date
I have no idea who's fault that is. I would like to say it's Sprints (since they are the merchant). But I have no idea if Apple made it apart of their agreement for pre-sales (that in order to fill the stock pre-orders, they needed the money in full). Either way, bad showing from Apple in not having their **** together for launch. Just how I feel.
But anyways, at the end of the day we shouldn't bought the phone if we 100% wanted it on the 19th. It was never advertised as launch, and they did have the shipping delay. Still sucks. No idea what I'm going to do.

Thats funny. Nobody said you had to be up at 3 AM. You choose to do that yourself. You could have taken a nap earlier and set the alarm clock and planned everything. You must be a rookie. Black Friday or Cyber Monday is the same thing.
They did have some models (just the 6 model). Analysts even said the 6+ model could have been delayed till later this year.

Dude. If you need a phone that bad, get a cheap prepaid phone. AT&T gophones are like $25 and even come with a $10 credit!! If you want data, you can even get a NET10 phone from BestBuy for $50 that even comes with the first month free. It takes a few days to get the sim card shipped but you can use that until you get the new Iphone.
Use that for a month or so for basic talk and text needs until you get your phone. Problem solved. You could have even ordered the 6 model and received it by September 19th.

Ya I get it. It sux. We are all in the same boat. This is my first Iphone so Im excited too. I am an early adopter on most electronics so this is typical routine. If you guys remember the PS3 launch there were riots! Craziness to go bananas like that.
I usually order quick but then kind of expect a slight delay. One of the CSR reps I talked to the day before was trying to get me to go to BestBuy since she had said that they may not ship the + models by the 19th anyways. Either way is cool.
Ordered through Apple store app. Still says processing items with deliver date 9/19, while some people already know their serial#, track# =(

. I've seen a lot of comments in the news about the + models, even people calling Sprint CSR's the spawn of Satan for not getting them their model. There's hella cheap prepaid phones to get so at least you can use the basics.
At least by the time we do get our + models, we'll be happy since we didnt compromise to change to a lesser model. Im excited too and cant wait to get the 128gb model. Ive never had an IPhone before and am switching from a droid phone. Tired of all the bloatware and looking for a change
.I went into Sprint Friday morning after placing my orders for a silver 64gb 6 and a silver 128gb plus at 3am CST (earliest the site would let me in). I was inquiring about canceling my order to place an in-store pickup order for the 19th. He told me they aren't doing that because people have been canceling their orders and are experiencing errors that prevent them from placing a new order. He added that I shouldn't worry because they had apparently just been told that orders for the 6+ placed very early in the morning would likely be received on the 19th or by mid-week the following week. I took comfort in that, but he could have just been telling me what I want to hear. My order status hasn't updated for either phone.

That is if you were to pre-order now. Anyone who ordered a plus model before 11am Friday morning will receive them within 3 weeks.
I totally agree! Biggest reason I switched from Verizon to Sprint....great price on UNLIMITED data

I ordered 6+ 16GB and mine says 4-6 weeks still
Don't get me wrong, I love my iphone. But I can't see how people could just buy one without actually playing with one to see how they like it. I am torn between the larger one simply because I think it will be too big, but at the same time I want a bigger screen. Plus I want to wait to see if all the guinea pigs can work out the bugs b4 I buy one
1) my sister and nephew have android phones that are 5.5" and 4.7" respectively. I visited them the other day and played around with the phones to get a feel of each. I mean, you already know how the system works and the quality of materials from Apple. It doesn't require much to imagine the rest of the device of all you really need to compare is the screen size.
2) I stopped by a Sprint store to do the same as above but with the phones at the store that are the same size. Aside from the bezel and thickness differences, those comparisons will be quite close.
The two things above helped me decide and I ordered the 6+ 128GB Space Gray. Stuck in delivery limbo just like everyone else, however. :-(

I went ahead and ordered me the 64 gb Iphone 6 in silver. Ordered about 15 minutes ago and it stated I'll receive it on 9/19.

No. Im a well informed consumer. I research everything before I buy and know what to expect. Anytime there is a new product (especially from Apple), expect a delay. No need to resort to saying its BS and whining. WE are all in the same boat. Verizon is reporting of being able to ship the + models by the 19th. Lets hope we do as well. If not, relax. It will be a kick ass phone
