After watching the apple special event on apple
TV I think I may order a 6+ specifically for the camera. I am big into that stuff. Plus practically every other guy at my work has a galaxy s5 and I need to compete haha

I ordered from verizon so I don't have the time to read everything in your sprint sticky thread. How sprint been nice to deal with? Are you happy or sad with the sprint process? I was happy with verizon pre-order. Whats the general result from an sprint pre-order. Summarize for me. Thanks

We are in a delivery limbo with the plus models. Sprint says up to 3 weeks for delivery. My experience was good on the website. We are all hoping to see our orders shipped soon.

My guess?

My guess is there was a HUGE hammering demand such as the Sprint servers have never seen, the cabinet was glowing red and steam was coming out.

Weirdly, when my friend and I tried to trade in our old devices using their site it claimed that out phones were worth $0 on some browsers and worth > $200 on others. Very odd.

I got my order in at 205am CST for a 64Gb 6+ on pre order night and was the first one at my store to pre order the same thing. I'm having a problem doing the esign online, anyone else have this?

You may have a wait time of 4-7 weeks or longer. Im upgrading from the Galaxy S4 16gb (which is actually like 8 gb since its loaded with crapware).
I have an SD card but that doesnt help since programs are installed by default to the main hdd and I dont wanna take a chance of rooting it (even though I know how to do it).

I originally ordered my Silver 64gb from Apple because the loading problems Sprint's website was having. They quoted me 7-10 business days after launch for my delivery, which isn't bad but right now I am using a Blackberry Curve 9330 and my job is sending me to Texas on the 28th for training and I wasn't going to be home on the estimated delivery days. I ended up cancelling my order and ordering through Sprint at 11:30pm EDT on the 12th.

Your pre-order for the iPhone 6 is at our warehouse. We will do our best to get it to you by 9/19. Keep an eye out for a shipping email with your tracking information. Thank you for your patience. For the latest shipping timelines, visit sprint.com/preorder.

Still no tracking number, but I am confident that I will get mine on Friday. Joe Dirt said, "You can't have no in your heart."

Not getting my hopes up for a friday delivery. The message that they are in the warehouse is probably BS. If they were in the warehouse already, then why would they say up to three weeks for delivery. Apple screwed the pooch trying to force the sapphire display, then changed when they realized it wasn't going to work and had to redo it. If only sprint carried the blackberry Z30. Would have dumped apple in a heart beat. But apple is the next best thing for a semi secure cell phone. The waiting game begins. Wouldn't be surprised if all out orders are pushed even further out.

Yeah, agreed. I think if we don't get a tracking number by Wednesday for the Plus, then we're probably waiting at least another week.

The message means that your pre-order was sent to the warehouse. It doesn't necessarily mean the iPhone you ordered is at the warehouse.

It's safe to say no one who ordered from sprint has tracking info .. Or am I wrong.. Both my apple.com orders have already shipped. My sprint order has not changed.

It didn't say the product is in the warehouse, it says The PREORDER IS IN THE WAREHOUSE.

From what I understand The Pre-Order Process Works Like This:
1) Pre-Order ticket made and sent to fulfillment warehouse
2) Pre-Order is assigned to a device by serial number
3) Device serial number is either "In Transit" from China or still not even made
4) Shipment arrives in warehouse. Tickets are matched and then sent out

So, our ticket may be in their warehouse system but the device is not.

My guess is that the very broard "3 Week Window" means that we at least have a serial number linked to our order so the product is in the system. And the 4-6 week window are orders that are so far out that they don't even have serials to match up to so those are the ones with a better chance at being delayed.

That's an interesting observation. So anyone who is sitting with the 4-6 week timeframe doesn't have the Serial Number (Product ID) listed yet?

Assuming you aren't a 6 + model?

EDIT: oops, yeah you said it's for the 6 model. Not +

This is such ******** lol. I completely regret not ordering from the apple store at 3 am. I would most definitely be pickig both phones up this Friday.

I wouldn't worry too much just yet. I pre ordered the 5 on sprints webpage and they were really slow updating the status. Everyone else that ordered from apple or AT&T at my work had tracking numbers by Tuesday. I didn't get on till Thursday morning and I got it on launch day. I remember going to bed on Wednesday and nothing updated and I assumed I wasn't getting it on launch day then Thursday morning when I woke up I had an email with a tracking number. Also everyone else's came fedex mine came UPS. I don't know if that holds up updates or not.

I ordered at 4 AM on Friday morning. iPhone 6 Silver 16 GB. My order status still says that it's sitting at their warehouse while my friends who have AT&T or Verizon have their shipping numbers and what not. Wtf!

This should teach us all now next year, do not buy from sprint.com no matter what

I just talked to Sprint on the phone. They did tell me that they had ample stock of the iPhone 6, but not much iphone 6+. Of course I was wondering about my local store and they couldn't tell me anything, but the woman did tell me that they got hit harder then they were planning on.

My plan all along was to queue up as I always wanna be sure I have it on launch. This year I'm a little nervous as I don't know if I'll be there soon enough. Hopefully I am and I don't have to back order it ...

Same message here. I got my order in on Friday at around 3 PM for an iPhone 6, gold, 64GB.

I'm sure Sprint is just slow to update shipping info and we should get our phones on Friday.

Some people need to chill out. It was a weekend, after all. I never expect updates to these types of things on Saturday or Sunday if I order anything from anywhere on a Friday.

Another point I think about is how many people just on this forum alone I have seen post about cancelling orders that have already gone through and reordering through somewhere else because they think the process is too slow to update- are these people contributing to slower wait times for everyone else? I can't help but think they are.

My concern is simply that it's weird that other phone companies have updated their customers preorder status with shipping information while I've seen no change in mine since Friday.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I had to be one of the first orders being that I placed my 6+ order at 2:05CST, I'm hoping I get mine Friday, but a few day wait wouldn't be bad. It's crazy how every other retailer and carrier is sending out shipping emails. If the 6+ was delayed, I would have no problem with how Sprint has handled this, but there is no doubt there is a stock out there.

I will say there has been a few times I didn't get a tracking number until the day before I received my order in the past with Sprint.

I wouldn't have thought they'd still be this far behind with shipping info however.

When I ordered the 5S I didn't get a tracking number until like 1230am the day of delivery.

Honestly expected better this year. Been trying to track by reference via https://www.fedex.com/AltRefTracking?cntry_code=ca_english&vid=K205747&aff=k244266 and via the reference option here from left hand side of page http://www.ups.com/WebTracking/track?loc=en_US&WT.svl=PNRO_L1 using order number or account number which I got by chatting online and asking a sprint rep however no dice as of yet and my charge to my card is still pending.
